I would agree with that....except they tried that last year and were even worse this season. #regression

It's almost impossible to do anything where you have a league wide talent drain. There is only a High Tier of Certain players and they deserve to be able to ply their trade after a certain time. I like Cubans idea of an alternative to college. I would put like an an academy system system and allow small market franchises to farm their own guys. They could sell the rights to the contending teams. Kind of like Southampton does in the PL. It would reward competativness and creativity.

Will have seen great teams get blow out of playoff games before and the next game they end up winning. Overall bad night except the 2QT I thought the defense was solid in that Quarter.

Game 1 of ThunderSpurs in the second round last year! Spurs led by as much as 40 points! How did Thunder respond? They won 7 of their next 9 games to get within one win of the NBA Finals!
 
Well the good news is I don't think we can play much worse than we did tonight. Hopefully we can get Nurk back for game 3 and try to swing momentum in the series. I remember feeling shitty after losing by 21 and going down 0-2 against the Clippers last year before the team came home and figured things out on their home floor. Warriors are a different breed, but we saw this team can hang with them in game 1.

We saw dame and CJ hang with them, is more accurate.
 
I'm not disappointed by the result, but I am disappointed by the mental fortitude of the players. The first five minutes of the game we looked switched on, and the Warriors looked half asleep. Then GS realised that they would actually have to play tonight, and we went to water. I am trying to temper my disappointment with the knowledge that we are the youngest team in the entire NBA, and this experience can only be of value in teaching inexperienced players what playoff basketball is all about.

Exactly. We proved game 1 that even if our stars play awesome, we have no chance without Nurk. So without the stars playing awesome, we got rocked. With Nurkic, everyone is better and if we win two WITH Nurkic, Warriors will be worried come game 5. As they should be.
