Do you still believe the Blazers will come back to win the series?

i really think we can come back and win a few games if Stotts just tells the Guards to treat the game like were down 6 with a minute left. Just attack before they set up

Stotts isn't getting fired.

You'ze Guyz.

LOL

Batum always picks up his game in the playoffs.

Too bad our all stars don't have Batum's heart.

Beibs with 5 minutes off the bench. The lowest of all bench players.

See ya later stotts.
Its obvious what Stotts needs to do to turn this series around its just too bad he wouldn't know it even if it punched him in the face and yelled in his ear with a bullhorn.

I know the season isn't over yet but..... The guys fought tonight, that's for sure. And you can say if they could have hit some open shots, it would have ended different. But hey, they lost to a team that played most of the second half with their third string PG. I think Portland's failure was more than just the absence of Mathews.
This team got broke in the early part of the season and ironically, I think, it was Lillard's hot three point shooting that did it. Team offense started to suffer; guys weren't getting enough touches; passing wasn't as important. Lillard's game suffered also; he didn't develope a good dive and dish game or even good decision making as to whether shoot or pass when at the basket. In general he didn't work at becoming more of an assist type PG. I think he tended to think his shooting was so important that he shouldn't spend his energy on more intense defense. Maybe the whole team started to let up on defense as they felt less involved in general, or maybe it was just, as others have said, that other teams caught up with what Portland was doing, and Portland didn't adjust.
I'm not blaming this on Lillard at all; what he did was pretty natural. I can't really blame the coaches too much. like most of us we somehow hoped Lillard would just keep up his miraculous play forever. But that wasn't very realistic.
And I understand there is not much time to practice in the NBA. But it seems great teams (San Antonio certainly seems to) in all sports concentrate on becoming better as the season goes on and Portland did not do that. And I think that is on the coaches.

Good luck to Memphis in the second round. That should be an interesting series.

Stotts sucks Lillard sucks rolo sucks Kaman sucks afflalo sucks.

Fuck this season.

Im surprisingly chirpy after this loss. I dont feel like were going to get swept and I like the fight we showed. No reason why I feel this way.

Grizz Warriors, and Spurs Rockets should be good.

Props to David Joerger, shades of Greg Popovich the way his club is playing.

Consider the silver lining. If Memphis demolishes Golden State 4-0 and then wins the NBA championship, other fans will call us #2 in the league.

The Grizz have a simple formula. Defense and ball movement. They don't ISO a ton or take too many threes.

They are the anti-Blazers in a lot of ways. It really highlights the gimmicky Stotts systems.

I'm still proud of the guys, they quite possibly are doing their best.

They just can't get any stops. Terry is not going to cut it. If Portland has any hope of resigning LA, the best thing they could do is cut ties with Terry and make the offer to Thibs right away if in fact he is available. It would give em something to show LA before free agency:

We desperately lack a defensive mind on our coaching staff.

Thibs is a great choice. He was rumored to possibly go to the Magic, but I'm sure we could make a compelling offer.

Fuck. I was scared when Nick Calethes had the ball. Beno Udrih looks like Pistol Pete Maravich. Conley looks like Chris Paul. Goddammitt.

Thibodeau really, really likes Lillard. He would pick us over Oklahoma City. As for other teams, why go to a losing team.

LOL, how about $150 million dollars.

BNM this game is what I mean by being worried Calathes would hurt us.

13 pts (4-9), 4 reb, 3 ast, 1blk, 0 to

Calathes stepped up at a key moment when his team needed him.
