They aren't doing anything special. Playing simple basketball and we aren't doing anything to make them do otherwise. That, and if are near them when they shoot or deny them a pass in the paint we get called for a foul, so we kind of have to just sit back and hope they miss I guess. On defense they just hip check us all over the floor and hand check and get away with it enough to be effective. Tic-tac-toe series over.

Matthews isn't winning us this series. He would have been nice, but the Grizz swept us in the regular season. This is no fluke. This is a more talented roster with a better coach we are facing.

Even if Aldridge comes back, even if the Blazers somehow improbably win this series, this team has to make a big move in the offseason. I thought maybe adding a Jeff Green/Thaddeus Young type of 3/4 to the mix off the bench would be enough, but, as much as it pains me to say, I think we have to make a change at the starting 3.

I also think Blakey's about shot. If you want to go far in the playoffs, the Blazers need a better backup PG.
