Matthews isn't winning us this series. He would have been nice, but the Grizz swept us in the regular season. This is no fluke. This is a more talented roster with a better coach we are facing.

Remember there are 3 guarantees in life, not 2 like has always been said. Death, taxes, and sports officiating showing how fucking incompetent they are and that they know they can't work a real profession giving how much of a reject they are in society and fucking up sports as we know it. The Portland Trail Blazers are down 0-2 in the first round against the Memphis Grizzlies. The series may be a lot different if the Blazers still had Wesley Matthews. But with hisseason ending injury keeping him sidelined, the only thing Matthews can do in this series is watch.

Matthews didn't travel with the team to Memphis for the first two games of the series but with Game 3 taking place in Portland

They scored 62 in the first half. I think we have a shot in this game but not without D. Our O was the best of all the series so it could flatline so we have to have D to fall back on.

I don't think our offense does him any favours in this regard. Lots of players standing around waiting, doing nothing. They should be active, cutting, etc (that's on the coaches though, not the players).
