We have no idea what it means to play intense playoff defense. We can't even do it for an entire possession. If we start a possession playing intense, they can just dribble around until we lose focus and slack off and give them an open shot.
 
God damnit. That was the first time this series i can remember memphis fucking up 3 possessions in a row and we piss away opportunity with standing around offense and batum fade aways. God fucking damn it. Then they get a bail out luck 3. Fucking fuck.
 
Two more shots with no to little movement and no one within 15 feet of the basket. All we do is shoot jumpers.

If this is the way this season ends and the last game for this core playing together, it will be a lot easier to see breaking it up (and that's not saying wholesale changes, just that getting rid of a couple of key guys from this rotation who might have been considered nearly untouchable at midseason or who are fan favorites won't be as hard to swallow as it was a couple of months ago, because they look like dogs right now).

Meyers and CJ are costing only $5 million combined too. Lets not do anything dumb like overpay Rolo or Wes in the summer.
 
Now would be a great time to see the first sign of Lillard time in months.
 
That's the epitome of Stotts' impact on our offense. All or nothing and totally dependent on the players making an extraordinary play.

I don't want to pile on with more negatives ... we still can win this ... but Stotts really seems like a deer in the headlights. He doesn't only lack answers, but he lacks ideas and imagination. I guess I know now why he's on his third team as a head coach.

And more hero-ball.
 
LA would be much better if he modeled his game after Tim Duncan and not Dirk Nowitski. He's not good at being Dirk, but he'd be good as Tim.

Stotts is not telling Lillard to stop passing the ball. Lillard got that bright idea all on his own.
