Courtney Lee and Conley dropping outside jumpers this well is pissing me off.

I am pretty sure they'll drop this game so they can win in Memphis. Just prolonging the inevitable... :(

RIP blazers. I love you but were fuuuuuuuuucked. :(

What are the odds we can't make jump shots 4 games in a row? Tonight that has to change.

We shot really well our last game. O wasn't the issue as much as D.

Batum and Lillard shot well, but LMA couldn't buy one except for a stretch of the third. With this team, our defensive intensity definitely correlates to whether or not our shots are going in. Once Nic started knocking down 3's in the fourth quarter, we were suddenly active in the passing lanes on defense.

Isn't that what the Spurs did last year?

Aldridge has shot like shit all series. In the first half last game he couldn't throw a rock in the water standing in a lake. He needs to man up and make some shots. So I picked Aldridge to click.

If the rest of our team would play with Batum's heart, at least we'd have a chance.

Tonight we get our swagger back. Steal one in Memphis. Come back home and turn momentum. Then we make history portland trail blazer style. We almost did it against Dallas a few years ago. We were 1 last minute choke away. It can be done. Our guys just need to start believing again.

Blazers vs Grizzlies Game 4 pregame

There is little to say about being down 0-3 in any series that is real positive. The Blazers are saying a lot of positive things like playing for pride and not giving up but just saying those things is usually a sign that most feel this series is all but over. I am not going to try to make this out to be anything less than a task that has in fact never been accomplished. Winning a series at this point is simply something that is unheard of. So how can it be done you ask? Win a game!

The Blazers need to go out tonight and win a game. It's simple as that. I don't care about Paul Allen's "Lonely" walk. I don't care about who wants to see streamers falling from the rafters. I don't care about who thinks Aldridge will be a Blazer next year. I really don't care about all the people expecting Lillard to be an All-Star point guard. Doesn't matter if Wesley Mathews is on the court or if he will ever be the same after this injury. I don't think the nationality of any player is all that important. What two players did 6-7 years ago in practice simply is of no account. What matters at this point to me is that i see this team play a good game and they get a win.

Make the Memphis Grizzlies fly home and play another game. Make them know that they will have to play hard another game to get to the next round. Put a little question in the minds of everyone everywhere because if you do that there will be a bunch of stories written about the possibilities. Does anyone anywhere really think that the Blazers at this point cannot win this game tonight? If you think it cannot happen then you are sorely mistaken. Lets hope that those who don't believe this game can be won are not in attendance at the Moda center. That is just simply not the Blazers way of doing things.

My last Pick was Batum and again they will need him to continue to show up if they are to even consider winning this game. I know a lot of people have been down on Nic but he has showed up in this series. I think a lot of it has to do with his experience in a playoff atmosphere. I don't like the idea of him nursing his way through the entire season but he is showing he knows how to play in the playoffs. Nic Batum again is the one true advantage this team has on the court and they would do well to exploit it again.

Lillard started making some shots last game. Some of that is due to the attention that Afflalo demanded. The problem was that AAA got into foul trouble and for long stretches he was out of the game. The other thing Dame did was alter his shot selection. This i think was the biggest factor. He started taking what the Grizz were giving him and did it with confidence. The other thing was CJ started hitting his open looks. This is the kind of game we were looking for in game one.

We have Danny Crawford, Derrick Collins and Marc Davis tonight for Refs. This crew might not completely take over the game and leave a few guys on the court. No question there were a lot of calls and in the end the game was effected by it. The difference here was not that huge until the Blazers started fouling at the end but there was a timing of calls that seemed to have a huge effect on the game. Both teams had problems with the refs last game.

There are some changes that coach Stotts made last game on defense that seemed to pay off. He did start switching a bit more and it did let Lillard set up better. They also started dropping around the pick and again both Lillard and CJ set up quicker. The Grizz are not the best shooters and this was in fact a better look. Both looked more comfortable and it payed dividends on the offensive side. It also looked as though Afflalo again made the difference here. Just having the extra defender that can hold his own made the team stronger on the defensive side.

Pick tonight is Aldridge. What i am looking for is a giant effort by the teams leader. Something tells me that he will in fact show not just the fans but a few select writers that he is not done in Portland. If he comes out and plays the way we all know he can from the beginning this game is Portland's to win.

I just don't think this will be the last Pre-Game that i will be writing this year.
Go Blazers!
Kjironman is a fan!!!

Come on Trail Blazers, take down those Grizzlies!

Repost but we need whatever we can take.

First off.

Darkwebs..a big THANK YOU for all of your hard work this season. First class stuff..

Guys it has been a good season. For all of the 23 win seasons...all of the "rebuilding" seasons..all the years that we had no reason to watch a playoff game, I am thankful for what we have and look forward to much more in the future.

For the most part you all are a great group of guys and a season would not be the same without this collection of oddballs.

This year with all the team has had to endure, we got stuck somewhere between the pucker and the poke. regardless of the outcome tonight, good job Blazers.

Amen!!!

I'd like to see some more LamBeibs tonight. Try to draw one of their bigs out of the paint to make it easier for Dame, and CJ to penetrate.
