Yes, I said it when we acquired Norm. Cut CJ's minutes. Have him be Dame lite off the bench and put a defensive team around Dame. That being said getting production out of DJ takes player and ball movement and all of this takes a little imagination and Terry Stotts has absolutely no imagination at all.

Difference is we got waxed in game 5 so that game didn't hurt as much. This one.........gutwrenching.

That was actual bullshit. They should not have called that hand grazing Dame's shorts. They should have given it to us side out, no foul and Denver would have had their timeout. It didn't matter though because they still got the win.

That was one hurts... Nurk melts down, CJ is the 5th-6th best perimeter player between the two teams, Powell continues to shoot incredibly bad in the last 2 minutes of close games. That's a lot to overcome.

Not to mention our "great bench" isn't great.

Also, Dame generated a NUMBER of wide open shots in the 4th + overtimes. When the ball was handled by CJ we got contested jumpers by CJ or contested jumpers by Norm.

I agree with that but Powell just doesn’t seem to be a big time shot maker. Regardless I’ll try anything at this point
 
Non Dame Blazers go 1-19 in Overtime and 2OT... We can end the talk about this roster being so talented.
 
I don’t think Powell has ever hit a big timely shot in crunch time since he became a Blazer. Somebody needs to say it
 
I dont even know what we could realistically even hope to get for CJ at this point. I guess besides the fact Olshey is a bitch and won't trade him, theres also the fact of who the fuck wants him?

The framework is CJ to New York for cap. They need a guy like him. NYK gives assets and Portland adds assets for a third team.
