Portland is playing like they were the 8th seed, and the NBA made a mistake with the seedings int he 1st round.

Very much so. Stotts is a nice offensive coach but Pop is a witch on both sides of the ball. From a talent standpoint, there really shouldn't be that much difference but the coaching and schemes are miles apart. That and Batum either seems to sleep or when he does decide to show up a little, he still gets schooled.

Nice to see Barton get a little run. 5-6 in limited minutes in the playoffs so far for 13 points in 15 minutes.

First of all, it was just two bench players at the time and both Barton and Mo were the only ones scoring. It's the starters that were sharing the court with them that sucked. It's not like we have a second unit or anything like that.

Playoff experience is definitely showing.

The Spurs are just on another level.

Give SA some credit. It's not all us, it's not the officials. They're playing solid at both ends.

This is a lot like the 99 conference finals against the Spurs, cept that there wasn't a last second 3 pointer by a Spur that killed the Blazers chances. What killed the Blazers chances was a last second 3 pointer in the 1st round.

I'd like to see someone foul a spur hard and a fight break out. We need to start HATING the spurs not being amazed by how good they are playing

We're just checking out. If we don't make a run and at least get this to a respectable level, we have no shot in games 3 and 4. This will be a sweep.
