So is Thibs available or not?
Thibs as coach and [ugh] Melo at PF and this team gets to the point where they can make this a series. As is, we're lucky to take it to G5.

If the Mavs had done their damn jobs we might be 1-1 or 2-0. But NOOOOO they had to wake the dragon, release the kraken, etc.

Not trying to give you guys hope, but as they say, it's not a series until the home team loses. You can still hold court the next two games.... Having said that, I hope my Spurs sweep you guys to get some rest for the WCF. No hard feelings.

1st game was tough ok i accepted that loss we have no chance to play even level.. but tonight after a horrible start we cut to the 8 and had great opportunity to cut this thing a 1 point with some missed bad shots we give them the confidence back.. especially the wide open Diaw and Leonard Three Pointers are the killer in this game.. LaMarcus Aldirdge is not jordan .. all the comments on the first two game against houston was a dream for him.. he think he is jordan :D:D man this guys is really inconsistent

No it's good to play against the Spurs. Beating Dallas would have been bullshit for priming us for the future. We need to play the best.

No doubt. We won 33 games last year. 54 and trip to second round is a massive improvement. I'm proud of the team. I think we can tie the series in Portland. Let's go for it.

GG Blazer fan. Those minutes in the middle of the fourth are the Portland team we'll see in Game 3. I still feel this goes 6.

We will probably win 1 of the 2 games the way we have been playing. Everyone but batum needs to step up.

Ok, Ok, going back home.
This will get better, I think their coach is much better but our players are as good as they are. We need to win the next one despite of Terry, if every single player does his best, it doesn't matter who's on the floor.

I'm proud of this team too. Just wished we would make a series with Spurs.

Well Portland has been the team that plays better with their backs against the wall. They are now against the wall. Let's see how they respond.

I hate how defeatist some of you are right now. This isn't best of 3, it's first to 4. Portland hasn't seen a second round playoff game in ages-- they're gonna blow the roof off.

I need to find a better place to vent.

Sean Elliot wasn't out of bounds, he made one of the greatest shots in history. Right now they don't need much miracles against us, we should toughen up and start winning.

It is vital that the Blazers improve on this years record and team. Adding a bench scorer (or two) should be the #1 goal. and the #1a goal should be actually playing defense. Just "oh hey, my guy is over there and just drove past me oh shit he scored" defense either.

This is quite a bit different. I expect them to get hot and win a game at home for the fans. But...they really, REALLY need to tune it up. Spurs as old as they are, are running circles around Portland. And it shouldn't be the case.

How come all of our players can't be hot in the same game? This game it was Nico and Wes who were hot, but LMA was just cold as heck. We could probably steal both of honest two games if everyone is hot.

If Portland can win both home games, they then start to believe again. Just believing has massive effects on you. it did in the Houston series.
