Spurs execution on offense and defense is deflating. Look at the way they're pressuring the Blazers past the three point line. Even when guys get into the lanes they're so bothered by the defense they're throwing the ball away. It's getting in their heads.

Yes, Blazers are missing 5 footers and layups, but Spurs have also done a terrific job of taking away the 3 point line and getting in passing lanes.

Good question. Does he deserve it? Does getting to 2nd round auto safe him? I mean our defense is not going to get any better until we get a new system. So it really is a god question.

I discovered how to stop the spurs. Force them to shoot half court shots at the buzzer. Their only 2 missed field goals this game were half court shots.

Unfortunately Stotts will be back for another season - but after next year he's gone. Even during the regular season it was quite easy to see that he's not up to the task at hand.

If Stotts does not come out of this second half with a different defensive plan, he should not be back next year. He needs to try something....ANYTHING that is different than what they're doing now. There's no reason to worry about it failing, we're already down 20 and we've been down 20 for basically this entire series using the same asinine defensive plan.

All the credit in the world to the Spurs. But they had trouble with the Mavs who were the #8 seed. Blazers just not playing well at all.
