If not the Blazers, whom would you want to win the Championship this year?

The shots we were getting weren't quality.
Yes they were. Aminu was wide open 4 fucking times.
CJ was wide open for huge threes 2 more times.
Kater missed point blank shots.
Harkless was fed wide open looks multiple times.

Your tired mantra of trying to look more intelligent than an NBA coach is boring at best.

Man CJ fucking disappeared tonight...

That's the average CJ. Occasionally he comes alive and takes over, but not often. That's why he's our best trading chip.

Btw I have only turned off probably 2 or 3 games ever out of frustration but this was one of them.

I turned it off after Murray went ape shit in the 2nd quarter when Stotts finally called a Timeout. This is only the 2nd game this year I've done that.

Do you even know what our motion offense is? You should look into it.

The refs are allowing them to be the aggressors, which is giving them tons of confidence.

My Game 6 and 7 adjustments:

Start Collins and Hood:

Dame, CJ, Collins, Hood, Kanter

Sub pattern: Leonard in for Collins when Plumlee enters [Leonard guards Jokic and bangs him hard];

Rest Kanter (or Leonard) & Hood by bringing in Chief and Harkless;

Rest Dame for Curry;

Rest Dame for CJ

Are you on the team?
Seriously you are way outta your league with me bro.
I'll clown ya. Stick with the haters and have a nice evening.

That was only thing that encouraged me in the end of 3rd q - Damian hitting those 3pointers. I prefer him to try to hit them instead of pumfake 3s when no ones arond him. Refs fucked him badly and to be honest, if I was him, I would go home after they haven't call flagrand on Jokic when he grabed Lillard, show them finger on the way out and play in 3on3 league for fun. I mean, how much can you take and still go forward. It's good he put 2/9 tonite, as this lose was in the cards. This should give him more confindence to take deep 3s in next game in Portland and make them.

Look at the way we played in round 1 and the way we played the last 6 halves. Even though Dame went off (who knows if we even win without him turning into a GOD), our style of play was much better. Much more calm, focused, deliberate, aggressive, a lot more movement. Stotts orchestrated a GOOD offense in round 1.

Exact opposite the last 6 halves. So my opinion goes both ways.

I don't think that was so much on Stotts as it was on Dame taking it personally. I remember the camera shot of Stotts on the sidelines after Dame's winner, and he looked completely lost, rubbing his forehead and looking about ready to shit his pants.

That was telling to me. The guy is a pussy, and I don't think he leads this team at all. He barely gets angry, ever. He needs to stop being a friend, and start being a COACH.

Nothing easy for this Blazers, we will win 2 games and advance.

It's worse than ignorant.
It's people letting their emotion control their intellect.
Earlier, some poster called serbian wished for our coach to " burn in hell..."
What the fuck is wrong with people?
I used to belong to a different forum and watched for years as S2 posters looked down on us, but even the infamous "jet" never went there.
Everyone has a right to an opinion but nobody has a right to wish death on a coach.

At least I'm not making excuses for spoiled brat millionaires who can't even give on honest effort.
You think i'm gonna feed you?
You too are also way outta your league with me.
Or are you gonna go look for your clown suit also?
I suggest you stick with your fellow haters and have a nice night.

Nothing better than wasting 15 seconds of the shot clock running blocker-mover actions before finally calling for a ball screen as the shot clock expires over and over again

Look at how many ATOs, sets, and quick hitters Denver ran tonight for easy buckets

Did we run any? I seriously don’t think I saw us convert a single set play the entire game. Malone coaching circles around Stotts

Yeah that is a bit much for sure.

* I know there are a lot of theories, but it is truly disappointing that Portland started the game so unfocused and unready to compete. Dame was the only Blazer who seem engaged in the 1st half, and the game was essentially over by halftime

* I don't have as many criticisms of Stotts as some, but I will say that the Stotts offense does seem fairly easy to derail by a team with decent perimeter defenders. It too easily devolves into Dame or CJ just going iso, play after play. Last season was kind of the Nadir of this syndrome as Dame, CJ, ET, and Napier spent a whole bunch of time playing 'it's-my-turn-it's-your-turn-it's-his-turn' offense

* related to that is Portland's issues at the forwards. 4 years ago, Aminu and Harkless settled in as the starting forwards and they are still in those roles today. And 4 years ago, it was pretty apparent that Portland needed a major upgrade at one of those forward position. Didn't matter a lot which one. But Olshey has failed to find an upgrade. And the one PF Portland has had who could have challenged Millsap in this series, Noah Vonleh, was sacrificed because of the gross spending spree in 2016. An upgrade almost certainly won't happen this summer because of Portland being in a straight-jacket with flexibility. But, IMO, until Portland gets a major upgrade at one of those forward positions, they will continue to be vulnerable. And no, Zach will not be a major upgrade over Aminu

* I'd like to think things will be different in game 6, but the last 2 games have me kind of pessimistic about Portland's chances in that game

Team's are going to miss open shots here or there. CJ shot 40% from 3, he's not going to make every single 3 and expecting him to do so would be ridiculous as a coach. Also, praying for Aminu to consistently hit 3s (even though he's been awful this series) is ridiculous as well, and shouldn't be Stotts' only answer. Teams have long dared him to shoot 3s, but Terry should've figured out a counter by now. Balance the floor in a way so that if they help of Aminu, he has an open cut to the rim. Have Aminu moving off the ball to keep his defender locked in on him instead of the ball.

"Harkless was fed wide open looks multiple times" - He was 2 for 3, so I don't know what the hell you're talking about with that one.

That's the problem, people will search and stretch for any excuse or reasoning to not criticize him, and then will demand for me to give him props even though I do when it's deserved, while also deflecting it towards some bullshit like "you're trying to look like blah blah blah". It's ridiculous. Don't demand for me to give him props if you'll never, EVER criticize him. It's ridiculous.

Myers Leonard will be responsible for turning this series around. Hell yes.

completely unrelated to this post...

and, while I still think you were wrong and way off-base in the things yous said about Dame...I came down on you too hard for what you said. It wasn't necessary and I was just venting. I apologize

Wonder how this place will sound when this team comes back to Portland and ties the series.
Something tells me the Blazers are gonna do just that.

I didn't care for the laughing and smiling on the bench. Ya it's meaningless but we got our asses kicked and no one seemed to give a damn
