I got thrown out of a Metro PCS store by a Mexican kid when all and I mean ALL I wanted to do was cancel my account.

The lady that was behind me heard me tell him the first time. He tried to sell me on staying.

I said No, I don't want you to convince me to stay I've made up my mind.

He said ok and then started trying to sell me on staying.

I said Dude I just want you to cancel my account. He said I know but...and started trying to sell me on staying.

He told me he didn't have to take abuse from me and that I had to leave.

I spent the day in San Francisco with my family and spent the drive home talking about how nice it will be in the future to move into the country. There are some amazing parts of city-living and especially when young it's full of life and creativity everywhere, but I'm getting tired of all the hustle and bustle. Slowly planning for a future phase of our lives on a small farm with grapes (wine), animals, veggies, bees and all sorts of of other projects seems like a ton of work but the type of work that's worthwhile and creates a peaceful, happy life. I do not think this is correct Sly. "We" did not do theses things. The institution was not created here, it migrated here with people that had learned to deal with slaves. A very small percentage of Americans even had an ancestor that owned a slave, as there were only about 11 thousand slave owners on this continent when slavery was abolished.
The other 31 million people were not slave owners, nor were the more than 100 million immigrates that came here since.

The founders of this Nation did not create the institution of slavery. Several of them did try mightily to end it
without success, so they had to deal with it.

I can not find fault in their attempts to deal with what was, notably Jefferson, Madison and Monroe. But they were not the first to fail to end slavery. Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed before them, did no better.

But there are some very vile racist groups who now feel that they have a home and a voice in the republican party and that is indefensible. It doesn't matter which racist dirt bags support the dems.
