Need to add a free agent or productive lefty bat via trade as we are way too right-handed especially without didi for half a season or so. Gary at this point should be a rotational 4th outfielder.

Hopefully the best stocking stuffer will be watching Giancarlo Stanton, being traded to the Bums, although they have no Pitchers that I would want...
 
Miguel Andujar’s name is making noise around many trading rumors. Trashman would be crazy
to get rid of this young hitting star. He was Yankees best clutch hitter last season. I can name
a couple of big names who I’d love to be shipped elsewhere!
 
Machado is making it known that he’d prefer to play on the Yankees. I still think the price will be
too high for the “economic moratorium” standard of the NY Yankees.
 
When the Yankee "Brass" sit down for decision making the song "What Do the Simple Folk Do" from Camelot comes to mind. Even that Loudmouth who honchos "High Heat" stated that the majority of Yankee Fans do not want Machado. Yeankee best all around baseball cowboy is Judge but Andujar is the hit man. Many Yankee Fans are pulling for Andujar to be retained good future ahead with him on board.

I don't see why the Yankees have not offered Stanton and some kind of trade. LA is his hometown, and I am sure he would return to hitting 50 home runs in the National League. However the Bums I have not had a picture worth trading for in 4-5 years IMHO...

The Bum's used to stockpile Pitchers in the minors, but that hasn't been the case in a decade...

Amen to Andujar. Give the kid time and his arm and glove will come around. He is the Hitman just like you said...

GT was overhyped IMHO, even though Torres did some wonderful things this year, it was Andujar who made the opening roster...

Trashman is a fool to even think about trading Andujar.
He is as much a fool for considering the cancer that is Machado... or Harper.

There is only one player I would even consider trading Andujar for, & that would be Jacob deGrom. Even then Andujar would be my last trade chip, less #99 of course...

#27 is my favorite number. Ray Rice jerseys were once a part of my fashion parade. However, Cyrus Jones now wears 27 so that means I have to re configure those letters to spell Jones.
I liked Stanton before he stunk up the post season and I'll wear it in spring training no matter who occupies that jersey in '019. Maybe Harper will be in it.
 
Twins signed 38 yr old Nelson Cruz following his 4 years with the Mariners according to Jeff Passan
of Yahoo Sports. His deal with the Twins is worth $14 mil guaranteed in the first year.
There is a $12 mil club option with a $300K buyout.
 
From what I'm seeing on Twitter it looks like Machado is going to The Yankees.
 
According to MLB network’s Jon Morosi, it is the Brewers who look to be the “prominent”
pursuer in trade talks regarding the the Yankees’ Sonny Gray.

Many Yankee fans want this to happen. I am not one of them. Yankee lineup already is overloaded
with righty swingers. Team needs lefty hitters to balance the lineup. I see Machado as a ‘prima donna’
type player and I do not see him as a team player. But the way Trashman is constructing this team,
every player will be looking out for themselves. I’d say the team is being built in Trashman’s image.....”business as usual”.

Have heard that the #Yankees, #Phillies, and #WhiteSox have all made their final offers to Manny Machado, and it is indeed New York where he’ll be heading. Announcement expected early-January.

One stud down even though he's an asshole he is a top player and can the lefty that we really need in harper be next as reports are he also wants the yanks. Problem is boras is his agent and will most likely not let him take a lesser offer like evidently machado is as both the phillies and white sox have reportedly offered more than the yanks.

I agree were too righty cage but he is a top five player and a gold glove at third where I see him ending up when didi comes back. Hope the yanks give andujar a first baseman glove and he can adapt there and stay with yanks. Otherwise by the alstar break when didi is coming back I see andujar going for a stud pitcher for the playoff push

I would go with him every time; with the game on the line; as the new DH when DD gets back. Andujar over Stanton any day.

For a rookie I would take Andujar's 92 RBIs / over Stanton's 100, any day, any time; any year - now and in the future
