help fill out the roster of AAA Scranton.This GM sure knows his way around the Trashbin!

Saw an article this AM claiming that the lack of interest shown to Harper & Machado by MLB Teams was disgraceful. Well shit, for what they allegedly want for what they will give back is not worth the rumored salaries they'll receive. This article was on Yardbarker and written by a sportswriter named Jason Rowan.

The only disgrace is both Machado and Harper and their Agents, for thinking anyone's worth 30 Mil $$$.

Neither Kershaw or Greinke's worth 30 Mil.

IF any One Athlete is worth 30 Mil $$$ imho, it would be Trout.

What would Mantle, May's, Ford, Gibson, Koufax, Marichal and numerous others be worth today???
One thing is for certain: None of these were Egomaniacs to believe they were worth 40 Mil in today's FKDUP market.

Free Agency has become a Fkng Beast and Agents have turned a Fkng Sport a bless-ed Game into Big Business.

Players have become Commodities in lieu of Athletes....
 
Ball Players like Say Hey, the Mick, Teddy Ball game and the like were franchise players and earned the salaries they got. Marvin Miller was an advocate for salaries, Steinbrenner paid for what he believed to be a where withal for success but none of that happened until Curt Flood challenged the system, these modern day fuck wads probably don't even know who Curt Flood was.

Caught a bit of MLB Tonight this AM prior to Hot Stove. The "Sports Journalist" (did not catch his name) said that Othani will be the face of MLB in 10 years. Hot Stove today is hosted by Fran Charles & Ron Darling a much improved duo ove Vasgergian & Reynolds. John Heyman reports today that the Yankees interst in Machado is dimming, they (Yankees) do not want to fork out Stanton Money, good show if that is true. I'm rooting for the White Sox and Philly. Per Shehadi a go fund me set up by Yankee Fans for Machado had received but 167 Dollars. Shows me where the fans stand on Manny Boy.

I think the owners are finally waking up to a degree and only a team like a white sox and phillies desperate to make a splash will even look at these long term contracts anymore. If machado wants to play here it will 5, 6 or 7 years most.

Per comments I heard today on MLB Network Cashman still wants to move Gray but is being cautious because of Biggies health problems. Re-signing Biggie may cause more issues than they are worth. Gray has shown that he can't sub for any one on the roster.

Discussing the 10 best 3rd Basemen now on the fan vote side Andujar came in at # 8. Per Mike Lowell the hid is a hitting machine and his defense can be fixed. Per an ESPN Article I saw today the Yankees are betting on Andujar as well. Damn good news, I don't want the Yankees to quit on the young player and sign over priced Prima Donnas.
