During the campaign with all the craziness what kept me sane was the time I spent campaigning, working in the office or canvassing. Not coping very well now. Cut back on news, ramped up workouts, prepping for Thanksgiving and playing with Lashanna. Still fighting heavy depression.

What are your coping strategies for the next 4 years?

My wife and I have decided we can't get caught up in the day-to-day craziness again - "He said WHAT? He did WHAT?" It was truly toxic and unhealthy and way too stressful the first time around.

Tuning out of the shit-show-to-be seems to be the only solution, to the extent possible. Less news, more junk TV. Not caring. It seems like an awful solution, but we can't come up with a better one.

Exactly. There is such a thing as malicious prosecution but my lay person understanding is that applies when a prosecutor knows charges are bogus. The intent isn't to jail Jack Smith or Fani Willis, it's to intimidate.
