I think it's suspicious he worked out alone. Sounds like something an agent insists on. Play against somebody you coward!

I have a rule of thumb: better a player whose stats DECLINED in their last year of college than one whose stats took a sudden leap. Michael Finley and Karl Malone are examples of the first. (I make exceptions if the player has experienced a huge growth spurt.)

I'm going to bet that the kid from Creighton ends up being the same player in the NBA and will be available much later in the draft.

One looks like a LOT more value for someone you would expect to contribute right away.

As for the 3x3 matchups, some of those are pretty interesting and I can see Dunn going full bulldog trying to shut everyone down.

Draft Jamal Shead and Dunn and play them as part of a unit with Matisse and NEITHER side would score.

knecht can get to any spot he wants to on the floor. and spacing will only help him.

in any other draft, i would scoff at the notion of drafting a 23 yr old with the #7 pick. in this one, i wouldn't mind.

And he can space the floor so that Scoot can have a better chance at getting to the hoop without running into a brick wall of multiple players and getting shut down like he does now a lot.

Maybe McCain was the only player we were really interested in in that group workout. I bet he interviews REALLY well. I would not be amazed to see him at #14 (and would hope that that would mean we had a trading partner for Anfernee).

I like Knecht, but it's easier to find his profile than a guy like Salaun or Ware. Scarcity matters.

might be the case. Going by the lists, if it is on the move doesn't seem like it would be headed to Portland

but it might be too early in the workout phase to jump to conclusions. Salaun sure has worked out for a lot of teams
