... And traded to the lakersSteve Blake is being signed for a 4th time?
How about Ant to Detroit for TH jr and Ausar Thompson? Clears the way for their rookie Holland at F. Adds mush needed shooting next to Cade.
Who’s TH jr?
went over to basketball reference and they didn’t have anyone last year with those initials. On a side note, they had 31 different players on their roster last year. No wonder I can’t keep up with what players are where anymore. Much different from the 90’s when everyone had 12 to 15 throughout the year

Lauri can't be traded until summer 2025 because he signed an extension.Ant, grant and picks for Lauri Markenin

Even if he could doesn't make sense for the rebuilding Blazers to be sending out picks for a veteran, but he literally can't be traded here or to any NBA team right now.

One reason it's NOT likely: because the Lakers are over the "second apron" they can't aggregate players in a trade, and everybody on the Lakers either earns way more than Grant or way less.I'd assume Grant to the Lakers is the most likely to happen, just makes sense for both teams.
They're close, but not currently over. They can aggregate as long as it does not put them overOne reason it's NOT likely: because the Lakers are over the "second apron" they can't aggregate players in a trade, and everybody on the Lakers either earns way more than Grant or way less.
It's crazy but I wonder if Grant may actually have more value locked on that big contract, as trading for Ant risks having to pay him even more next summer if he performs well. .
picks and swapsSo now the only problem is that the Lakers have fuck all that we'd want.
Right, and Grant is close to 30m…so they need a combo of Rui and maybe Gabe + one more small contract to get there. Plus a pick. They're close, but not currently over. They can aggregate as long as it does not put them over
I honestly couldn’t name 10 players on this team let alone 15!according to Spotrac, Blazers now have 15 players with guaranteed contracts. If they did a 1 for 3 trade once the season starts, they'd have to waive 2 players first. Right now they could do the trade because they can have up to 20 players under contract. They'd still have to dump two before the season starts though
