I dunno. Because there was nothing said about an essay. Regardless of what the site is about, I saw the word Islam, and thought about all the things that I had to read about and write about.

I had to write an essay about all of the deaths that occured in relation to Muslims. What would you expect me to say? "Wow, I love reading about Islam!! I just wrote an essay about all the people that were murdered after the passing of Muhammed, and it was sooo cool!!"

I had to write an essay on any religion we studied in 7th grade. I chose the corruption of the Christian Church, without any personal opinion used.. Everyone else Islam bashed, saying how it was an excuse to kill, without any back up. And I had to talk to the teacher. It was pretty funny.

Religious studies is a mess in general. There's no consistency in regards to terms, definitions, and theories from scholar to scholar. Everyone just tries to throw their own viewpoint out there, regardless of what's been written already.

That doesn't make much sense. How is Islam an "excuse to kill"? And what did the teacher have to say about those papers?

Not at all. I usually black out when I post, and then snap out of it a few seconds after.
