Since I was a seventh grader I've always known that Allen Iverson's shooting percentages were pathetic (True Shooting % and FG%) and thus diluted his scoring accomplishments. I always think people will keep that in mind (he was kind of efficient in 05-06 but Kobe overshadowed Iverson that year) .</div>
Nobody really cares about True Shooting %'s. That's an obscure statistic, no matter how accurate.
Twenty-five years from now, casual fans will still be like casual fans today. They'll see ppg, rpg, and apg, along with maybe spg and bpg, but not much else.
Except, without having lived through the era, they'll think that Iverson was a lot more dominant than he was, sort of like how a lot of people today think that Wilt was better than Russell.
