The Fall - 10/10

Hot damn this movie is fantastic. Check it out ASAP.

Just saw "Eagle Eye" in theatres and I liked it. It's pretty cool and a tad disturbing if I think too much about it.

Go watch it, you'll like it.

Shia Labeouf is really getting good as an actor.

Gonna download the Fall, and checkout Eagl Eye this weekend.

Cool. After you watch it tell me what you think about Eagle Eye.

I'm gonna watch Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist this weekend for my brother's birthday. I also want to watch How to Alienate People with Simon Pegg, as well as Religulous.

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army -- 9/10 -- Guillermo del Toro is one of the best directors out there now. The Hobbit should be a masterpiece with him attached.

Doomsday -- 4/10 -- Pointless, derivative, and pointlessly derivative.

A 4/10 for Doomsday is gracious.

Just watched Reservoir Dogs: 8/10

Syriana- 4/10

I couldn't get into it, the plot is WAY too complicated and...I fell asleep sometime in the middle.

A 4/10 for Doomsday is gracious.

Yeah, you're probably right. Somebody could go through that one scene for scene and make a list of where each was stolen from.

I love RD, it is a classic. I wasn't that interested in it last time watching though, just the first scene where they were talking about Like a Virgin. It's definitely between an 8 and a 9, though.

Donnie Darko - 8/10

I don't like giving out a lot of 9's and 10's.

Classic scene, and good point about 9`s and 10`s but i NEED to see Donnie Darko!

Reno 9-11: Miami -- 8/10 -- really funny, surprisingly not less funny than the show.

The Incredible Hulk -- 7/10 -- not better or worse than what I was expecting, but seeing the cameo by the legendary Rickson Gracie was a pleasant surprise.

Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist - 7.5/10. Pretty damn good.

I watched this movie again last week. Great story, great cinematography, and overall, great film. I'd recommend this movie to you if you haven't already seen it. It's a beautiful film, and one of my favorites.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall -- 8/10 -- pretty funny, bit sappy, excessive male nudity. Frankly, any male nudity is excessive.

Is there a lot in there?

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull -- 5/10 -- feel like I've been duped with this one.

11/10. Fucking fantastic, anyone who hasn't seen this yet FIND A WAY TO WATCH THIS. Godamnit I loved this movie. The directing was amazing. I love the different styles the director used in the cinematography. Incredible. Acting was surprisingly good considering its a bunch of people you've never heard of and a lot of very young actors (children, teenagers, young adults). They really made you believe it was real. What an amazing movie. The whole movie was in Portuguese with english subtitles but it doesn't hold back the movie at all.

Quick synopsis for those of you who haven't seen it; Its the story of a kid in Ciudade de Deus (translates to "City of God") which is the slums of Rio de Janiero. It begins with him as a young kid about 10-12 years old and he narrates the story of all of the happenings within these slums, how certain gangsters in the area take over and all of the activity that happens with these gangsters. Violence, sex, lots of drugs, murders, robbings, everything you would expect from a bunch of 14-20 year old gangsters who basically run the slums. Most of the story is about what goes on with these people but in the end its ultimately about this gyu who is narrating the story and how he grew up and tried to make it out of "The City". I won't give away what happens but its really a great movie, please see it.

Great movie.
9.5/10

And nice recommendation on Memento, Joker. 9/10. I acctually watched it twice (something I never do) and enjoyed it more the second time.

Midnight Meat Train -- 7/10 -- grim and gruesome with loads of actual suspense, but some cliche and budget problems hold it back.
