There isn't being anything said on www.oregonlive.com so I had to do some searching on the web. It looks like Felton is interested in the 3 million signing option since Nash went to the Clips...
With Steve Nash no longer an option and Jeremy Lin possibly heading to Houston to play for the Rockets, the New York Knicks are now reportedly “committed to adding” Portland Trail Blazers guard Raymond Felton, who played for the Knicks in 2010 under former coach Mike D’Antoni, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News:

The Knicks are favorites to sign Raymond Felton, a source close to the free agent point guard told the Daily News. The Knicks may be willing to acquire Felton in a sign-and-trade as a way to hold on to their $3 million mini-mid level exception to use on another free agent. A trade for Felton would likely include Toney Douglas.

Felton has had a tenuous relationship with the Portland Trail Blazers ever since CSN.com reported in February that Nate McMillian, who was then the head coach, told Felton he’d be benched the next game because of “unacceptable” play.

If the Knicks are in fact able to retain Lin and sign Felton, head coach Mike Woodson would have to decide whether to insert the young but promising Lin into the starting lineup or go with the more seasoned veteran. Felton has been a starter for most of his career since being selected fifth overall by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2005 NBA Draft.

Felton was scheduled to meet with the Suns, but with Phoenix coming to terms with Goran Dragic, it’s unlikely that the Suns will still consider Felton.

Felton did have some breakout games towards the end of the season but he was out of shape. He was a failed experiment in my mind.

Jason's got a quick hand
He'll look around the court
He won't tell you his plan
He's got a rolled cigarette hanging out his mouth
He's a cowboy Kidd
Yeah, he found a six-shooter gun
In Cuban's closet hidden in a box of fun things
And I don't even know what
But he's coming for you, yeah, he's coming for you

All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, outrun my gun
All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, faster than D'Antoni
All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, outrun my gun
All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, faster than D'Antoni

Amare works a long day
He be coming home late, yeah, he's coming home late
And he's bringing me a surprise
Because Carmelo's in the kitchen and he's packed in ice
I've waited for a long time
Yeah, the slight of my hand is now a quick pull trigger
I reason with my cigarette
And say your hair's on fire
You must have lost your wits, yeah

All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, outrun my gun
All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, faster than D'Antoni
All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, outrun my gun
All the other Kidds with the pumped up Kicks
You'd better run, better run, faster than D'Antoni

I thought we cant sign and trade him because we already had to renounce his cap hold for the money to make hibbert the max offer?

We haven't renounced anyone yet. Not until he signs, I think

Sure, but if we dont renounce him we wont have the money to sign hibbert to an offer sheet right? Essentially making any chance of us sign and trading felton null .

No. We can agree to sign and trade Felton to the Knicks now, do it on the 11th, and then renounce our remaining FA's when we sign Hibbert to the offer sheet

Gotcha, I still wouldnt do it for toney douglas. Give me iman shumpert if you wanna talk new york
