No Nash. No McDonagh. No nonsense tonight!
Let's get a W tonight.

They're playing more inspired w/o those 2 right now anyhow.

I keep forgetting there's a game tonight.

The puck possession # has to be in the bottom 3 in the league. Even witb Nash in the lineup. I think Versteeg could be a name they look at.

I'm growing more and more sick and tired of this league. No goal my ass. A completely ridiculous call.

Amazing, how much that trash in Toronto is anti New York. Hope, fucking Leafs stay bottom feeders for the next 20 years.

He got kicked in the head why? Because outside of the blue paint he stuck out his stick and tripped somebody on the ice. How that negates a goal is beyond me.

The WWE has a PPV tonight. Better off watching that. More legit than the calls you see in some of these games.

The refs have ruined this game. A made up call on Yandle and an absurd call on Girardi. I usually never yap about the refs but this has been ridiculous tonight.

Brassard you have to shoot the puck there.

NHL has gifted at least a point to the wings tonight. Haven't seen Howard play like this in like 5 years. Of course he has to do it against these incompetent tools.

Great top shelf goal by Klein and Lundy gets another shutout.

The league has consistently disallowed goals for goalie interference when a defenseman bumps a forward into the goalie, so this call is consistent with the league not allowing goals when contact with the goalie is made, regardless of who initiated that contact.

They had to have that, as one point wouldve felt like 0.

Terrible defensive play by the Wings player. Hayes is a lefty shot so has no angle and at best can get a weak backhand shot in and should have gone for the open player and blocked the passing

what you just said does not make any sense. The goalie TRIPPED Lindberg outside of the crease.

Imagine Henrik got kicked in the head and the goal counted? OMG HENRIK ALMOST GOT DECAPITATED AND THE GOAL COUNTED! CONSPIRACY AGAINST NY!

Why is it so hard to understand? when a goalie is in the crease and there is contact with an opposing forward the goal is almost always disallowed, regardless of how the goalie came into contact with the other player. The contact with Lindberg's foot was inside the crease, which is all that matters. Again, MANY times we have seen a defenseman purposely push a forward into the goalie creating contact in the crease resulting in a disallowed goal. BS? yes, of course, but consistent with the NHL not wanting ANY goalie contact inside the crease.

There was no contact. He stuck out his stick and tripped Lindberg and when Oscar fell his skate caught Howard in the helmet. The no call was ridiculous. Not to mention there was no goalie interference penalty so there was no contact initiated by the Rangers.

no, the call was consistent with every call the NHL has made for years where the goalie gets bumped in the crease for any reason and the goal is disallowed. It is not very hard to understand.

Even two bozos Milbury and Jones said that it was a good goal. They should clean up this rule.

Well then the NHL needs to reevaluate what the heck they have a video review staff for. They should be able to view each incident subjectively. Dosen't seem like they are. If that was reversed i'd even be saying Detroit got screwed.

Continuing to repeat what didn't happen doesn't make you correct. Lindberg was never in the crease.

Yes, they should. And when a defenseman shoves a forward into the goalie the goal should stand but the NHL is very firm on not allowing any contact in the crease with the goalie regardless of how it happens.

Did you not see the replays? or you did not gave your glasses on when they were showing them? Howards stick was outside the crease (while his body was inside the crease) when he made contact with Lindberg, who upon falling down swung his leg back kicking Howard on the face with his foot, whose body was INSIDE the crease.

It's unfortunate Chuck left, but not surprised he did. The whining that goes on at every play is unbearable.
