I see it as a win win situation. Was not fond of what I knew of the bill. I believed it was still too encompassing. I would like to see it repealed period and let the free market dictate pricing. Allow block grants to the states to grow medicare IF illegals are no ;longer given free health care.

At this point, obummercare will implode, not an opinion but generally agreed upon by the experts. Let the Dems burn.

Next time around, it will be a better bill. Where all the angst comes from is Trump supporters expected to see the same ram it through style that the Dems have been able to preform. The GOP is not as unified, but this is how good law making should be. Like Newt is fond of saying, it is like making sausage, not a pretty process but the end result is better when it is done right.

I pretty much agree with you. I didn't like this bill at all, it was way too much like Obamacare with a new paint job. Neither free market , nor National healthcare. Simply an attempt at commingling the two.

That is flat out false. Obamacare is far from perfect, but it is absolutely not in a "death spiral." Of course, it can be SABOTAGED, which is no doubt what the Republicans will now embark on.

The Republicans have been sabotaging obamacare for 8 years. If they spent that time working with dems to fix obamacare rather than making sure it fails then we wouldnt be in this mess today. So today the republicans took ownership of obamacares future success or failure. If they cant get their shit together in the next 2-4 years then there is no way they can seriously keep blaming Obama. The worse things get the more its now their fault and only their fault.

Obamacare is Shitty, there are a lot of problems with it that need to be fixed. The Republican 'affordable care act' or Trumpcare wasn't even feasible. It was a pile of shit far worse than even Obamacare, that would have raised rates to percentages impossible to pay, millions would be without health care, and would be fined because they are required to have it (before you bring it up I know obamacare requires you to have insurance too) it would be the exact opposite of what Trump promised. But, he was backing it anyway, not because he wanted to make amerixa great again for the middle and lower classes, but because he wanted to look like he had gotten something done. I for one am not going to pay over twice my monthly income for insurance. What were the Democrats supposed to do, vote for the affordable care act, which is a lie in it's very name, affordable my ass. And they weren't just sitting around, but rather fighting against this horrendous bill, and ready to vote no on it.
