Winner of game 6 wins the series

The Blazers need to get their magic working again in the late 4th again. Can't expect Jeremy Lin to shit the bed and turn the ball over late every 4th Q.

The Blazers need to take the game. Stop getting shit on early and playing from behind all game. No more big 4th quarter deficits to overcome.

How about not telling me what I think? I find that deeply insulting. I have watched this series closely, and to throw me in with the MIXUMs of the world is bullshit.

Not true at all. A couple years ago, Clippers blew a chance to close out series at home in Game 6 and then they went to Memphis and won game 7 on the road. Utah won a game 7 in Houston a few years ago too. We have TWO more chances to win this series. No more, no less.

I'm tired of watching Wright and Mo play, even when they're not doing well. I'd really like to see Barton defend Jeremy Lin. I think Barton would give Lin fits.

You like those odds? Beverley will be better by Game Six. TONIGHT was our chance to win, and we just let them build up a 17 point lead and coast to a victory.

The effort of this team sickened me tonight. It wasn't the refs, it wasn't being in Houston. We played satisfied.

We can do it, but it would not be the preferred option. Aldridge and the bench since Stotts wont learn need to step it up. I just hate Mo even more for running his mouth and playing like shit. I dont want players like that on my team. It is classless.

maxiep, the whole second half of the season, you were thoroughly optimistic about the team no matter what and now, suddenly, with our team up 3-2 going home for Game 6, you're freaking out. Do you know when the last time a team went 3-0 on the road in a series? Like 19 years ago. Houston wasn't going to roll over, but we're in a great position right now.

I didn't see that and if you talked to the players and knew them personally, I bet that you wouldn't find them satisfied. Wes has said from the beginning of the series that every game is must win. These guys want town more than we want them. There is much more on the line for them. I really think you need relax in here.

It's because despite having the series lead, the Rockets have been in control of all of the games but game 2. They've just shit the bed in crunch time and gave up big leads in the 4th.

It's not like the Blazers are going out there and outplaying them from the beginning and showing they're the better team. It's taken them some miraculous plays to win the games they did.

At the beginning of the playoffs, did anyone pick us to win in 4 or 5 games? If not, stop bitching that we haven't done it.

Playoff History Lesson

Bulls were up 3-1 in the 1993 NBA Finals. And MJ guaranteed they'd win the title at home in Game 5 but they lost. Had to go to Phoenix for Game 6 where they closed it out.

Bulls were up 3-0 In 1996 NBA Finals and it still took the Bulls six games to win the title.

Bulls were up 3-1 in 1998 NBA Finals and they lost Game 5 at HOME. Had to go win it in Utah.

My POINT: even teams led by MICHAEL FUCKING JORDAN, the best player ever, have struggled to win playoff series.

This is the way it goes. You win some, you lose some. We have the upper hand. Let's be happy. Being negative in here won't improve our chances of winning. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

It would be physically impossible for Barton to do any worse than Mo guarding Lin. In fact, air could guard Lin and be just as effective as Mo.

Dont Panic we got this round. The Presaure is on houston they must win. We had the chance to advance two more times. so relax, Regenarate and focus on the home game on friday. All About focusing and Concentration in this series. Houston is a better home team as Away, and we got them 2 times away so is no reason for panic :p

It is a falsehood that Houston has controlled most of the games. There have been 20 quarters of play. Houston won 10. Portland won 10. There have been three overtimes. Houston won 1. Portland won 2.

We actually got off to a decent start tonight. We were up 21-17 and then things just fell apart a little the end of first and beginning of second.
