Maybe it's dementia slowly setting in, but I thought you couldn't pass the ball to yourself off the backboard (shot missed so bad it just bounced right back off glass and you catch it on the ground) unless it was like an alley oop to yourself since you are off the ground when you catch the pass to yourself? Coz I've see LA and Dame get away with that once each so far, and I thought it had to touch rim or another player to just catch your own miss flat footed off the backboard.
