54 minutes for all the Blazer bench except Barton.

Will....9 points in 8 minutes.....the entire rest of the bench 9 points. That does not bode well.

Blazers didn't play bad to start the game just missed a bunch of gimmes early. The wheels came off as soon as Mo and TRob subbed into the game. That's when we got behind big and the Spurs got momentum and were firing on all cylinders. Spurs are going to expose our lack of a bench in this series.
 
We need Freeland. I don't know why he's not getting more burn time. Especially when the Spurs are attacking the rim and getting boards at ease.

Then They will win game 5 and then game 6 in Portland to put a dagger in your hearts.

If your guys are gonna let a scrub like Aron Baynes look like an allstar, you guys dont have a chance.

Spurs played very well, we played like absolute dog shit. Hopefully the team now realizes what it's like to play a real playoff team now, and how much intensity and focus you have to bring from the opening tip. We simply weren't ready to play. So many complete mental lapses.

I think this was the best thing to happen to us. A great loss to humble this team. Blazers are a good as the under dog.

I agree with you, Mags. I have no problem with the opinions in this game thread. People need to vent, cool down, and gear up for the next game.

Just realize we are NOT Houston where you can get fluke shots to fall to win a series. I still expect this series to be quite tough for my Spurs and wouldnt be suprised if either team won in 6 or 7.

GG Blazer fan. Warned y'all about Splitter, but Baynes was a massive surprise. Didn't think Pop would play him...
 
Guys, I'm scared. That wasn't just a fluke 3pt barrage or an odd off night from us. That was a methodical dismantling of every one of our strengths. This team has been blown out maybe 5 times in the last 89 games-- highly discouraging that it was so thorough and steadfast in JUST the first game of the series. Unless we can change our entire defensive philosophy and get the players to actually buy into it in a few days, this series is over.

And for gods sake, stop going down by double digits in the first quarter. We did that shit against Houston as well, but their D sucks and we can get back easily. Not possible vs SA.
