Damn! There is always someone, inferring with less logic than you thought possible! Carry on!

I am only going off what you said. Care to explain what you really meant then? If not, then I must have been pretty accurate.

Reading comprehension is important. He said he didn't want to own a business that requires him to please people. Not that he wouldn't try. Jesus

and how many businesses are there that don't require you to please customers? Do you think marzy is incapable of defending himself so you felt the need to butt in?

Meh, political parties aren't respected classes. Though if there was another prominent administration member in there who was male who wasn't asked to leave, Sanders could own them.

Religions are protected classes. Minorities in race, disability, gender and (in some states) sexuality are protected classes. I don't know that this is unconstitutional.

Though, the I foresee the first "Democrats not allowed in here" combined with "90+% of black people vote Democrat" excuse coming in 3....2.....1. Just what we need in today's climate.

I seem to remember conservatives applauding when Biden was kicked out of that restraunt years back. Now you are saying how horrible it is when the shoe is on the other foot. Hypocrits

I’m not conservative. I just find the hypocrisy of it funny. It’s either all okay or none of it’s okay. Make up your minds.

Don't try to please your customers and soon you won't have customers. Try continually losing money on your business and see what the IRS has to say about your tax deductible expenses. Running a constantly losing business can get very expensive.

If a restaurant refuses service to someone just because they are Republican than that should be illegal if it already isn't. Refusing service to the public when the customer belongs to a certain race, religion, sex or sexual preference, cultural background or military status is illegal.

You are free to refuse service to someone because you don't like their attitude or other trait that doesn't identify them them with a large group such as described above. This means you can refuse service to Ms. Sanders so long as you provide service to her larger group, i.e. Republicans.

While customers are important, and are the point, shareholders get a vote (literally) as well. I don't know "western journal", but someone else posted this article from them about Starbucks' quarterly guidance report...

In a quarterly guidance call with investors, Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson said his company expects same-store sales to rise just 1 percent globally for the current quarter. That’s not only the worst quarterly growth for the company in almost nine years, it was far short of the 3 percent growth analysts were expecting.
Hence, the company’s stock took a hit Wednesday, falling more than 9 percent, the worst single-day drop in nearly a year.
Starbucks closes about 50 stores a year on an annual basis, so closing 150 is a significant increase. And although the company hasn’t said which specific stores it will shutter, most of the affected stores will be in major metro areas “where increases in wage and occupancy and other regulatory requirements” are making them unprofitable, Johnson said.

(If you care, the transcript from the call is here. The MSNBC interview, guh, is here. Bloomberg's recap is here.)

Shareholders care about profits and customers are universally recognized as key to profits.

Naw!
But I do find it humorous that Dems want to start segregating restaurants again. Dems vs Conservatives but some places that is going to appear very much, Black vs White.
Just a reminder....not all liberals are Dems.....I got the impression she was more Green Party than Dem....not that it matters at all....I went to a war vets meeting once at the local library and was told Viet Nam wasn't a real war so I didn't qualify for the meeting....let's say the members of that club weren't liberals. Memberships to clubs often go through a vetting process...Trump even does that with golf club memberships...I don't agree with these things but they are all around us.

I joined both the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars as a lifetime member. I've never been hassled about my service in Vietnam. In fact, I've been praised for my service in the war.

Should you belong to a war club? Hell yes, and just let anyone try and tell you different.

Being in San Diego coming back from the war we were hassled all the time about being vets..a lot of us spent our off duty time in Mexico where we could buy a beer...I wasn't 21 yet when I got back....since those days this was my first encounter with vets actually dissing vets for the status of their war...no big deal to me...I just left.

As long as that customer is not a nuisance to others, then they should be able to order their meal, beverages, etc without fear of discrimination.

I have no sympathy for a business failing due to their discriminatory practices based upon those aforementioned groups you mentioned, Lanny. They are merely cutting out segments of the population they don't want to reach and offending others. They are practicing stupidity at that point and should fail.

Some might say this is a direct result of the culture we have in the White House these days...as I said...not exactly making America great again
