I shit you not, looked me up and down, saw my Trail Blazers lid and said, "Say hi to all the soccer moms back home." And walked out! Actually left me speechless, I had no comment! #Ouch

I like the way he makes fun of idiot GMs and stupid coaches. It's funny because sometimes the simplest observations are so true. His trade value column and overpaid contract talk is good. He hired and talked with Zach Lowe who's one of the best NBA writers/podcaster.

There's lots of stuff he has no idea on and is flat wrong though.

Not really. Just from some of the bigger/cooler events I've worked. And it's ironic he cracked on me, because I used to really hate this guy until I read his last book. It was so loaded with great hoop facts and stories.

Appropriately enough it's called The Book Of Basketball and your local library probably carries it. HCP is right, it's a great read. If nothing else, it's a great bathroom reader. Since it's a collection of anecdotes and stories, you can open it up and start anywhere. Highly recommended. Good call HCP!
