No it's not. That's the complete discussion.

I for one say build the MF the way you said and made CROWDS say, funded by Mexico. I don't believe in building it but I could swallow it more of he "the deal maker" got it funded by Mexico.

He's asking us to pay for it and that's the whole reason he allowed the shut down.

The whole problem came about because they're trying to pass a budget. You stop changing the subject...

The subject should be the stupid stopgap spending bills that waste billions already. I honestly don't know when we last had a real budget, do you?

Let's just say there would be a whole lot less complaining about it.
You've still got the issue of taking away private land to build a Wall on someone's appropriated property.
Then you've got another issue. The Wall must be built some distance inland. This means immigrants walking up to the Wall would be inside the United States and eligible for asylum application by law.

A 70 year old man fumbled his sentences. Big deal. Take out the write a check part and he basically says "I never said Mexico is gonna pay for it, I said Mexico is gonna pay for it and they are"

B. Arguing with me about wasting money. Over 5 billion out of a gazullion dollars of waste.

I bet you if you put each thing we're going to spend money on in any of these stopgap spending bills on their own line I'd veto half of them if not more.

No, he never said Mexico would "write a check". That part's true.
However, the clear implication from what he said was that Mexico would pay for the Wall not us. This follows from everyday English language. If I knock over your mailbox with my car and tell you I'm going to pay to have it replaced what do you think that means? Does it mean that you have to pay for it and you can get the money back by some sort of business deal that enriches you at my expense or does it mean I'll write the check?
 
Trump doesn't write checks anyway...he does money transfers and electronic banking...or at least his accountants do it for him....

If I run over your mailbox I'll go buy you a new one and install it myself.

I know English. He is saying the same thing he has said repeatedly. They'll pay for it. That is it and that's all.

Show me where he said they'll pay before we start building it and I'll concede the point.

If I were Mexico I'd tell Trump to stick it just like they already have.

I don't even know if taxing remittances would get me to pay if I were the Mexican government.

None of that matters. He thinks they're going to pay for it one way or another. Or at least he says he does.

The owner of the mailbox gets to decide who replaces the mailbox within reason. In plain English, Trump said that Mexico would pay for the Wall. That doesn't mean we pay for it and he waves his magic wand to somehow get Mexico to pay us back. That's total gibberish. Run over my mailbox and I'll choose who fixes it and it won't come out of my pocket.
Don't you guys speak English?

When Mexico agrees to pay for the Wall, my major complaint will disappear. Get them to sign on the dotted line.

Republicans controlled ALL branches of government.

Why are we talking about this now??
Why didn't they pass funding for Trump's wall then???

This whole wall situation is nothing short of Republican evil.

We can go on and on about what Trump never said Mexico was going to use to pay for the wall, but that doesn't change the fact that he said they would.
 
Trump is using the new math system to pay for his wall. The math system can create revenues from nothing. It is called the progressive math system.

It was invented be Bernie Sanders. He perfected the art of creating hundreds of billions of dollars to pay for his projects.

Trump is a rookie progressive math student compared to the master Sanders.

The time is important because other more advanced measures have come available that do not include a wall.
Also, I believe the wall that Hillary supported did not run the nearly 2,000 miles that Trump is proposing.
