This is huge. If Murray doesn’t play, we definitely have a solid shot. They will not be able to size us up like they did in the regular season. Collins & Nurkic are back. No more easy buckets for Jokic.

Lets just keep it as he has done some good things and he did well against the Rockets and Memphis. I personally think he is a good coach also sure but he has to keep doing things on both offense and defense utilizing the players he has available right now. That breakdown talked about "Diamond" defense but we also watched a Trap and double teams mixed in with some switching at times that also kept them off balance.
I would like to see them respond better to teams fronting Whiteside. He has the lob available a bunch of times and they are not taking advantage of it yet.

Jokic and Porter could start firing away from everywhere and light us up. Hopefully our defense can key in on both of them and make others try to beat us. We should be able to win this game if we take good shots and bring our A game. If the Blazers think this will be an easy win and play down to the competition it could be disappointing.

good point. I could see Porter Jr having a big night off of Melo easily. protect the rim & take our licks from the perimeter would be my best way to go into it. You know they’re going to try to post up with Jokic to make up for their loss of shooters. Need Collins & Nurkic to stay out of foul trouble and play a clean game.

Definitely a knock on wood situation. Multiple times this season the Blazers come up on an easy game/part of the schedule only to bobble the games away like the bad team they are. But this current bubble team feels a bit different. There is somewhat of an identity and confidence that I just have not felt from the team so far this year (aside from just Dame).

The only thing I want from this game is Jokic, Bol, Plumlee, Nurkic, Whiteside and Collins all starting

If this were a normal regular season game I could see us relaxing, playing down to the competition, not having a game plan for Joker and Porter and not taking advantage of all of the guys Denver is missing but this is not a normal regular season game. This is a game we must win. Our guys are dying to lock up that eighth spot so they only have to win one game to get into the playoffs. Nurk wants to punish the Nuggets every time he plays them. Everyone will be giving their best tonight and that should be enough. Vegas had us as a 4 point favorite and it's moved to 4.5 which means people that care enough to put money on it think we will win this by more than 4 points and the handicappers think we will win.
