Dude he says that because the losses hurt. He puts his heart on the line every single game. That doesn't look like something the biggest fan would say.![]()

Yes
It's the size of the fight in the dog
Are you that dense and oblivious? You are the one that compared being a Blazer fan to a marriage first, not me.Well let's use your analogy that has nothing to do with basketball. So you divorce your wife if she has a drinking problem, or do you try and help and support them?
Are you even married and ever been divorced?
But he's played clutch WAYYYYYYY more times than not.I didn't agree with Bayless. I am just tired of seeing Lillard not be able to play as well as he can because the Blazers can't figure out double teams.

You can be a diehard fan of the team and still want the team to improve. Unfortunately in team sports, improving most likely requires personnel changes. That’s where sports differs from marriage.
In fact, I am happily married for 10 years. And judging by your attitude and how you treat people on here, you are the one that is not married or has been divorced.

Well he posted the tweet, and it was Shit Bayless' usual diss on Dame.I don't see CC's post as a dig at Dame. It looks more like a dig ar Stotts and Portland's inability to run offense when Dame is being taken out of the game by constant doubles & traps
that is the template for how to beat Portland if you have some length at speed at guard. It's been the template for 5 years. You'd think after 5 years either the coach could develop a counter, or the GM would retool the roster to create a counter. Neither has happened
what lost us the game was stagnant offense that wasn't prepared to beat the trap
He’s had six years to address the “Dame trap” and has done nothing at all. If that doesn’t tell you how inept Stotts is, I don’t know what to tell you."Trap? What's that?"
-Terry Stotts

About what I expected in here. There’s a reason I stay out of game threads, especially after a really bad loss.

I’m confused. You’re saying that we lose in the series we lose in? What about the first and second round WINS?well, the Clips also sat PG13 and Lou Williams down in the 4th Q, so they were 'missing' a lot at the end.
but it's not the same; the Clips were resting players. Portland is missing 2 of the 3 you mentioned and neither will be joining the team any time soon. Hood may never be anywhere close to the level he was at, Wesley Matthews never was, and Ariza is 35 and it's not a certain thing he will even be on the team next season
so, the roster comparison doesn't really fit
and again, the Blazers have been invested in the Dame/CJ back court for 5 seasons now. The team has been built around that. And in that era, when the Blazers have made it to their close-out series in the playoffs, their record is 1-16 and they have lost 14 in a row.

3 straight sweeps is bad enough, but the problem is the opponent formula to crush Portland has remained the same: take Dame out of the equation with doubles, triples, and traps and force the rest of the team to win games; and they can't do it. And that's what happened today. The Clips trapped and doubled Dame for most of the game. As soon as the Blazers stopped shooting 60% from everywhere, they lost control of the game
that's a roster problem
“We”? Do you have part ownership of the team? Are you a player or a member of the coaching or support staff? Didn’t think so. So stop telling other posters how they should feel or what an appropriate reaction to a win or loss is. You wanna act like things are rosy and no changes need to be made - fine, that’s your prerogative... but don’t tell others how to feel.Yep, game threads are typically some of the worst reactions from posters, sometimes even when we win, but definitely when we lose.
He knows everything about the Blazers and lives and dies even preseason games.I was mad that we lost and I never said Fuck the Blazers and then claim I am the biggest fan. In fact, that thought would never even enter into my mind.![]()
Self Control under pressure helps.People are more emotional during games. What a surprise then that game threads are more emotional.
