Well could he be a serious answer to our PG problem?
No. He's basically Patty Mills. Without the charm.

Well could he be a serious answer to our PG problem?
Only 6 or 7 teams can have a legit PG in this league.
Actually, we're in probably the most PG-rich time in League history:
Paul
Williams
Nash
Rose
Rondo
Parker
Westbrook (not a fan myself)
Wall (ditto)
Irving
Rubio
Ty Lawson (ditto)
Jrue Holiday
Stephen Curry
Mike Conley (finally playing up to his abilities)
Brandon Jennings (likewise)
Then you've got people like Andre, Chauncey Billups, Jason Kidd, Kyle Lowry (who's slumping, but was amazing at the start of the year), Jeff Teague, DJ Augustin, Kemba Walker, Brandon Knight (who may not be a PG, but who I'd welcome onto our team) and always-efficient Jose Calderon.
The only teams (besides us) with blatantly sub-par PG play: Knicks, Lakers. Teams getting by without stellar PG play: us, Jazz, Mavs, Heat
So what counts as "legit"?
I sort of intuitively knew that maybe half the teams in the league were getting at least something from the point guard spot ... and then when you see it in black and white that it's more like 85% and the Blazers are on the outside looking in -- yet again it really makes you wonder how a team can't even accidentally bump into a good one ... well I guess we did with Miller, since he basically tracked down the Blazers brain trust in Vegas that summer and said "hire me."

The sad thing for Felton is, people here are essentially unanimous in their assertions of him being awful. No one is really making a case to keep him past this year. When nearly 100% of a fan base on a forum thinks you suck, that's bad.
Jrue Holiday
"Rebounds and blocks shots"
Really, this is what they had to say about a point guard???

LA seems to be looking for PG help. Move felton to them for the Odom TPE and 1 or both of the 1sts they have, theirs and Dallas'. In a deep draft, get 3 picks in the first, and maybe you can package all 3 to move up, or 2 of the latyer ones to move to mid first.
There's no point guards in this draft except Kendall Marshall.

The San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers nearly completed a blockbuster trade on Wednesday afternoon, but the deal fell apart in the late stages. San Antonio was prepared to ship Tony Parker and the #29 pick to Portland in exchange for Andre Miller, Nicolas Batum and the #21 pick.
Other players would have been added in order to make salaries work. However, the deal died when the Spurs insisted that Richard Jefferson be included in the talks. Since San Antonio’s attempt to add Jefferson, talks have quieted, but they could pick up tomorrow if one of these teams has a change of heart.
This Damian Lillard dude from Weber State is moving up draft charts. He's the leading scorer in the nation. A lights out shooter. Could he be the next in a long line of great guards to come out of Oakland?

I think the draft is the best bet at attaining that elusive PGOTF.
