Dallas does not need to trade anyone to us. All they got to do is resign Dirk for cheap and wait. They will then have around 40 million and can pair LA with someone maybe Rondo, maybe Gasol, hell maybe Matthews and Lopez.

It's time to cut bait with both if given the opportunity. Their contracts are an albatross for their extremely limited production. Hawes would have been great since he's already more productive than the two of them and his contract expires.

Your assuming that either develops into their potential or draft position. Also assuming that Hawes would not have helped get the Blazers out of the the first round an integral component to keeping Aldridge happy and in town. Keeping LA beyond next season is worth a lot more than whatever upside Leonard or Robinson have IMO.

Who says Lamarcus is ready to bolt? He's playing with an All Star PG right now. The are moving in the right direction. Robinson and Leonard don't have to develop to where they were picked, just develop into rotational reserves which they aren't as far off as people like to say while dodging chunks of sky.

I think maybe you need to realize that what Philly wanted, we didn't have.

This team was set up to take advantage of FA in 2015, and to appease their fan base by improving enough to say they made the playoffs. Not what I would have done, but that's what it is. So now you probably have purgatory for a bit. Not good or bad enough to do anything. Honestly, I think the Blazers know their fan base is fine with that.
