probably break again and just have to pay to fix it again.....his sub is named "The Oden"But at least he'd get consistent use out of that.
His submarine is named "Olshey's Plan".probably break again and just have to pay to fix it again.....his sub is named "The Oden"

I think it's 2 year player option 2nd yearAre we able to retain Curry if he has a big year or are we screwed because of the cap? Anyone know? Isn’t this a terrible signing without birds rights? Either he plays bad or he plays good and we don’t have cap room to retain... lose lose right?

We can give him all of our tax payer MLE next year or the year after but no more I believe So depends on how big of a year you are talking.Yes, but if he has a big year he will obviously opt out... my question is, can we go over the cap to retain him or are we screwed?
We'll have non bird rights, which means wee could resign him for 3.3M (120%) or we could use an exception on him.Yes, but if he has a big year he will obviously opt out... my question is, can we go over the cap to retain him or are we screwed?
So basically if he has a big year he is gone... like if we traded CJ and he became our starter and averaged say 15 ppg and 44% 3pt he will leave for more money... seems like a pointless signing without a 2nd year as a team optionWe'll have non bird rights, which means wee could resign him for 3.3M (120%) or we could use an exception on him.
That sucks. We'll have non bird rights, which means wee could resign him for 3.3M (120%) or we could use an exception on him.
What exception? We'll have non bird rights, which means wee could resign him for 3.3M (120%) or we could use an exception on him.
MLEWhat exception?
What exception?

It would be a huge risk kind of like what okc did last year. They swung for the fences and PG signed a long term deal with them luckily even after everybody thought for sure he would go to LA this season. Obviously we weren’t gonna win a title this year or next but I wish Neil made some moves that would at least help dame in the future for when the warriors are on the downhill. I hope that simons and Trent turn out pretty well. They have a lot of upside.I like that some people think we should give up serious assets, including CJ, for Kawhi, with the assumption that the culture here would make him resign instead of leaving for LA. The same people think the culture has no way to keep Seth "Not Steph" Curry after a year.
It is one way or the other. You don't get to bitch about one and cheer on the other. Pick.
So you wish Olshey would make moves for the future but he drafts two guys that you admit have a lot of upside after drafting another guy with upside last year? I swear people don't even think about what they type.It would be a huge risk kind of like what okc did last year. I’m thinking quite clearly and guess what? We have no assets. None. Nothing to really work with unless you want to attach picks. Simons and Trent could work out. They could both be busts. Neil had all this talk about assets for years and he’s let two of them go for nothing in crabbe and Davis. Turner isn’t an asset. Meyers isn’t an asset. Neil does not want to get rid of cj.So you wish Olshey would make moves for the future but he drafts two guys that you admit have a lot of upside after drafting another guy with upside last year? How was Crabbe an asset? It's a miracle he found a buyer for him.I’m thinking quite clearly and guess what? We have no assets. None. Nothing to really work with unless you want to attach picks.
