We just aren't gonna get an answer anytime soon, huh?

This organization is a joke. They said it would be done 18 days ago. Lol.

Note: I am saying the management team is a joke, not the actual team.

Fuck them. It's begining of pivotal season with new coach and this organization should be working hard now, with our GM constantly lookin for options. But no, they don't care. Let's waste some more time.

Aren't you a vet? You have lots of coverage if you are. Who pays for your travel hotel, food and plane tickets? Out of pocket?
Negative, all the travel oriented aspects of my job is covered by whoever I’m working for.

You and Fam are not invited to Blazer Broadcasting Xmas party?
wow....
Nah, we don’t have a special broadcast one. There is just a Blazers company party. But we have plenty of broadcast dinners on the road. Also, I’m invited to team super bowl, Easter, Christmas and thanksgiving dinners in the road. Shoot we even were invited to Snell’s birthday dinner last road trip.

Sounds like the team likes to keep you out of the house

OK then,
Choose one:
A. Fire Olshey
B. Olshey swings a deal for Simmons and stays

B. is the correct answer
Both are very positive outcomes and A. does not preclude Olshey's replacement from landing Simmons. The fact is that A. is far far more likely than B. That being said, you're right if Olshey showed the flexibility and competence to get us Simmons, him staying a little longer wouldn't be a bad thing.

The most positive answer is that he swings a deal for Simmons and then gets fired. But I don't think he can swing a deal for Simmons, so we're still in A.

Games like the one we just saw makes me really hope that on Monday the team's new CEO Dewayne Hankins calls a news conference and announces that due to the investigation or maybe just due to philosophical differences, Neil is gone. Right now I just have to hold onto that hope because I've got to believe that whoever Hankins would name as Olshey's temporary or permanent replacement would have some ideas on how to make this roster better. (I do not apologize for the redundancy of this message)

It seems like Neil may hold onto his job due to cause, but then will likely be let go for being an asshat and poor roster construction. The Blazers will have to pay out the rest of his contract almost guaranteeing the Blazers make moves to get under the cap this year so they receive tax revenue from other teams rather than having to pay it. That will help offset the cost of Neil for 'poor' Jody.

I dont see that as being a negative. Trade CJ for the right 2 or 3 smaller contracts - (getting under the cap) - and I think you have a better TEAM

I need CJ traded now. Last night was unforgivable. Not just on the last play, but the whole game. He looked like a child with smoker's lung trying to keep up with Gods on the court. The defense was perhaps the worst I had ever seen.

Olshey should just face the inevitable and resign. I think he would be a natural for a job with Nordic Track in their treadmill division.

We bend up some of the handle bars for them.

maybe i can put in a good word.
