Should we trade up in the draft?

Thaddeus Young 6-8 SF 18 years looks to me as a solid pick, but to get him we should trade up to top 18 because Lakers will pick him up at 19. I really see him as Paul Peirce in few years. Great wing span and jump shot. Left handed shooter.
