There's something wrong with this team.</p>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (King John da FiF)</div><div class='quotemain'></p>

Oh well, maybe they were just tired.</p>

</div></p>

these are the games we need to win. We lose to medicore teams constantly. at some point, it's going to catch up to this team.</p>

Consistency. I can't remember a game where we didn't get blown out in a particular quarter. Individual effort, coaching strategies, who knows whats the cause.</p>

I think we should be happy that our big 3 clicked and had a great game offensively. Remeber when we were struggling to score 70? Still, we're getting caught up in our tradition of runs with turnover-prone basketball</p>

God damn Jizzy, will you make a thread after each loss?

</p>

I really wish we could have a game were we did well every quarter.</p>

it's one game after a good road trip, while i'm disappointed tonight I'll be upset if they lose to philly on saturday.</p>

but still, it was their game. they just thought Memphis would hand the win to the Nets at once. hate this "effort" from Nets in the first half and I tell you we're going nowhere if we allow to be down 10-15-20 in every!! game. as it takes huge effort to climb back up. by the end of season when Kidd is exausted we may pretty well turn some pundits' predictions (9th place) into reality

</p>

really pissed about today's loss.</p>

</p>

Frank needs to go, if he can't fix the one-quarter meltdown problem.</p>

This problem always happens in the last two seasons.</p>

I wish we could play the fun basketball we use to when we were up by a lot. We are ALWAYS playing catch-up.</p>

It's been the same case for too long already. When will Thorn stop looking the other way. It's simply not just working. Take out Frank, re-shuffle, make some trades, anything! Thorn has to make some drastic moves. Injury free or not, the nucleus just doesn't fit. Kidd is all alone out there. Sure, he's shooting is terrible and is turning the ball a little too much, but why is that? They guy is doing everything on the court and he is 34 years old. So I want anyone who is on Kidd's case because of his shooting and TO's to look at what Kidd's been doing for the Nets before you judge the guy. He stuck it out with the team through thick and thin, I suggest all of us do the same. Are we already forgetting that this guy made the Nets one of the top teams in the NBA? We better open our eyes and really look at what Jason Kidd bring to the table. I've said this a thousand times, Jason Kidd is the Nets. You read it right. Not Jefferson, not Krstic and certainly not Carter! For those who think that the Nets need a better shooting PG than Kidd, don't you worry, it may only be a matter of weeks for that to materialize. The Nets then will be rid of his poor shooting and his TO's. When Kidd leaves, so will the heart of the Nets. Goodluck to the Nets when that happens. Back to the Marbury days!

Ok, yeah, I just think that we match up poorly with perimeter oriented teams, mainly because we can't compete from the outside. Kidd has always been the Nets to me (because I started watching them with Kidd and Kenyon) but I wouldn't have minded that other pg you're talking about, he shoots the 3 pretty well. He could have been big for us tonight, especially with 007 struggling with his 3ball. Tonight the Vince effect was not in effect. We were unable to trade 3's and their defense collapsed the paint and forced us outside. Although the guys individually had good situational recognition tonight and didn't force it from the outside, we couldn't dominate the inside or the outside.</p>

And I also get the feeling that our guys would rather hear 1 million jeers than a few cheers. Izod is so bad that having it for home is a disadvantage. I mean I wouldn't plan a Pinewood Derby Jamborie there, I can't wait till Brooklyn (no sleep till).</p>

Also that yellow Jersey might not be a bad idea at all.</p>

My bad! Just pissed off with the situation the Nets are in (AGAIN!).

I agree, Jason Kidd is the Nets. I hope he remains a Net until he retires, too.

We used to win these games 2 years ago. Its not like we were missing VC either. How do we win in LA but lose at home to memphis?</p>

When you think about it, we really didn't win in LA. They pretty much lost the game at the end for themselves but a win is a win.</p>

Jarkid is not a native English speaker, but since you've mentioned it, let's take a look:</p>
<div>

It's been the same case for too long already. When will Thorn stop looking the other way. It's simply not just working.
</p>

The word "just" is probably unnecessary, but at the very least is misplaced.</p>

Take out Frank, re-shuffle, make some trades, anything! Thorn has to make some drastic moves. Injury free or not, the nucleus just doesn't fit.
</p>

Injury-free should by hyphenated.</p>

Kidd is all alone out there. Sure, he's shooting is terrible
</p>

his</p>

and is turning the ball a little too much,
</p>

I think you mean that he is turning the ball over.</p>

but why is that? They guy is doing everything on the court and he is 34 years old. So I want anyone who is on Kidd's case because of his shooting and TO's
</p>

Even though many people do it, you don't need an apostrophe when you are stating the plural of an acronym or abbreviation.</p>

to look at what Kidd's been doing for the Nets before you judge the guy. He stuck it out with the team through thick and thin, I suggest all of us do the same.
</p>

A comma is inappropriate when you join two sentences together. It should be replaced either with a semi-colon, or the word "and" should be added.</p>

Are we already forgetting that this guy made the Nets one of the top teams in the NBA? We better open our eyes and really look at what Jason Kidd bring to the table.
</p>

brings</p>

I've said this a thousand times, Jason Kidd is the Nets.
</p>

Here, the comma should be replaced with a colon, or the sentence should be rewritten to read, "As I've said a thousand times, . . . "</p>

You read it right. Not Jefferson, not Krstic and certainly not Carter! For those who think that the Nets need a better shooting PG than Kidd, don't you worry, it may only be a matter of weeks for that to materialize. The Nets then will be rid of his poor shooting and his TO's.
</p>

see above</p>

When Kidd leaves, so will the heart of the Nets. Goodluck to the Nets when that happens. Back to the Marbury days!
</p>

Good luck is two words.</p>
;-)</div>

Dumpy, that's classy! Beat the opponent with his own weapon

Dumpy, good job, May I learn English from you ?

Only if you admit that you're wrong about Collins . . . :-)</p>

Man, Dumpy, the guy already apologized!</p>

(Although if I ever need an editor, now I know who to ask!)</p>

I think you missed this;reshuffle shouldn't be hyphenated, but it's probably the wrong word anyway, seeing as how he hasn't shuffled.</p>

</p>

Its time Frank gets the axe. The man just doesn't learn. Whats with a different lineup every night? What is with the Collins infatuation? Anyone notice that most of Gasol's points came from 18 feet out. The rotation is a mess. Magloire seems to have disappeared off the Nets radar yet Collins and Boone keep getting minutes. Baffling indeed</p>
