I'm not sure I agree with giving space to antifa.
But just like other terrorist groups, going in and using force only will add to their numbers.

However people don't see it like that. They see people who believe you can't challenge violence with violence as delusional.

It's either let them think it's okay to act childish or throw some tear gas and they can run around and cry like victims. If people who are thinking of joining antifa see cops just back off, they will think they can get away with more, I say act on that shit at every protest but I mean hey whatever they feel is best

Disagree.
It's a known fact terrorists groups in the middle east use force against them as a recruiting tactic.
'We're legitimized, they see us as a threat to their society'.
Antifa is a terrorist group.
'We're legitimized, they see us as a threat to their society'.
Using force allow terrorists groups to post propaganda and spin the actions took against them as a way to get their message out. Which in turn recruits far more people.

There are 3 options that I see right off the top of my head.
1. Give them what they showed up for. A confrontation.
2. Let them be, allowing them to hurt people, cause millions of dollars in damage.
3. Corral them so they can't hurt people, while only allowing them the ability to do minimal damage if they choose to. Find the people who do the damage when they're separated. Arrest and charge with crimes.
3rd option gives minimal media coverage to Antifa. As well as unmasks them. Personally I choose the 3rd option every time.
 
I'd play the devils advocate here on you @Cippy91 but I just don't have the patience tonight.

That would certainly be a massive overreaction, and counterproductive, but with this administration, anything is possible.

Hard to say they are the opposition when nobody is opposing them most of the time. They just kinda show up and start busting shit up

HAHAHAH This is happening because they tried to riot on Friday night at RockHardPDX but realized the 30 or so of them would have got slaughtered by the 200plus metal heads and the six cop cars. So they had to go home back to their moms basements and cry up something else to do this weekend.

Berkeley about to go crazy tonight. Calling Ben shapiro a nazi, by the way he is an unorthodox jew so that makes no sense to me. This guy is the most non threatening guy I could imagine and people there are freaking out. First they freaked out over Milo, the gay conservative, now an unorthodox jew. What a crazy place

I've watched a ton of Shapiro stuff on YouTube. Never thought of him as a Nazi or even the least bit threatening.

It is Bezerkley so nothing will surprise me.
