Yes, I know the Pelicans made their run which happens all the time in this league but we learned from the Clippers game and pushed back and got our first win of the year. We are FOR REAL. Only 20-30 wins this season? What the FUCK am I missing? I'm not just being a homer. If I thought our team sucked, I would say so. But the team I saw tonight is world's better than last year's crew. And we don't even have Henderson or Alexander. We're deep as hell.

You could be right. This game followed the same pattern as many pre-season games. We look brilliant for a stretch, then blow it. But the fact that we're able to jump out to such big leads is still a good sign. It's NOT too early. It's not a fluke. Dame gathered these guys in San Diego and they're all on the same page. Did you watch the game? Those are our Blazers. What you just saw is what we have. A damn good team. They won't randomly become a different team unless there are a slew of injuries. Will we lose games? Yes, every team does. But the team is CLEARLY faster, deeper, more athletic than last year. They play together as a team. I remember the 2013-14 season. We were killing it and people kept saying we weren't really that good. And we were. And we made the second round. MM said we were mediocre. DUDE, we did this against a rested Warriors team that was playing their starters and trying to win. And we did it against the Clippers even though we lost the game. Are you fucking kidding me? We're going to struggle? We are scoring with EASE. It wasn't just because of CJ. The guys play together as a TEAM. You obviously didn't watch the preseason games. We dropped 77 on the Warriors in the first half. You can say it's just preseason but we basically did the same thing tonight and this was a real game. I wouldn't be surprised if we lead the league in scoring.

How am I in homer mode? If we sucked like in the Ha/Telfair years, I would say so and I DID. I never wanted Telfair. I also hated Abdul-Rahim. That team sucked too. And I stopped watching the Felton Blazers because they didn't care, why should I?
