SI based its choice on the Nets' bench strength, which it called younger and better than last year's. It also quotes Marcus Williams as saying this of his mentor, Jason Kidd: "I've never played with a guy who made the game look so easy." SI is the latest basketball preview. Most see the Nets making a second round exit, although one can see the O'Brien Trophy in East Rutherford.</div>

Injuries are really taking away our chances of being 2nd in the East.

losing in the 3rd? that hurts, i think we have a realistic shot at winning it this year, god forbid any MAJOR injuried happen

3 of them already happened. House,M.Williams, and Boone are all major part of the team.

I think we vould be the 2nd best team in the east when we are healthy.

im talking about a injury to kidd, carter jefferson nenad. i mean all those players would of helped us, but if we lose kidd carter jefferson or nenad it would be bigger than losing house williams and boone,

Pretty accurate. The Nets is the number 2 team behind Miami. As long as the Nets are healthy, especially Kidd, Carter, Jefferson and Krstic, the Nets will be back at the East Finals.
