It's not a part of my shtick. Trolling is allowed on the Spurs board; it isn't here. Those are the forum rules, not a "shtick."

I have to imagine that part of maxiep's outrage at the mods here ties into his own banning on the Rocket board. Christ, I read at least 4 posts here where he was whining about it, and I don't read every thread.

I wonder how many emails he has sent the site admin to have his ban there lifted?

I think he just desperately seeks acceptance and he is arguing with everyone since there are so many spurs fans around. He knows this is his only chance to get in their books, and that at the end of the day we will take him back. I agree about the rockets board, the fact that he went off about that showed that it was important to him.

1 email is my guess.

You were whining about being banned from the Rockets board, and now you're whining about mods banning a poster who clearly deserved to be banned. I'm commenting on it. For someone who is mocking NB3 about caring, it sure appears that you care a lot about message boards, too.

To add to the hilarity, you're not making any sense, yet you're accusing those wondering what the hell you're talking about as being unintelligent.

I'm bringing you up because I find your antics both humorous and juvenile. Look, I'm certainly not known as any big defender of moderators, but berating them for banning some new poster who has a scat fetish, and likes to share it with others on this board, is a dumb idea.

It was a question. Why do you put derogatory nicknames in many of your posts? Maybe it pumps you up a bit, but to me, it comes across as a guy who is losing the argument, and then needs to try to provoke an emotional response, rather than a rational criticism.

Like I said, I defend free speech. If someone wants to post something so stupid, I think the proper response is to let it stand as a monument to their idiocy for all to see.

Hey, I'm back!

I'm not seeing the big issue here. Banning is not something that occurs here very often. It is always taken very seriously and very out in the open, Much more out in the open than any other board that I have seen. But more impotently I have always and will always treat this forum as a community. Many of us have been posting in places together for years. Many have become friends here and some of us have even met up outside of the forum. To me this place is special. Part of what makes this place special is that while we may not agree on everything we still respect each other. I've seen people argue about one player and then come together in defense of a different player. A big reason why that happens is all of us tries to keep the insults out of things when we are in disagreement. That's not always easy to do.

Maxiep you went overboard in how you attacked Nate. If you would have said that to anyone else Nate and or myself would have deleted your comments. There is a firm no personal insult rule (with the exception unless it's aimed at Nate or myself, lol) and because of what happened during the Batum free agency period we had to add a no pornographic or defecation picture in the main forum rule. These rules are in place to continue to make this place somewhere people want to discuss the Blazers. If you don't like something that has been done discuss it with us.
