Yes. That happened. But now what you said before. I don't get why people bring that up every time there's a blowout though. That happened once. Usually, when you get smoked, you get smoked.
Has any team came back from a 3-1 deficit in the finals? Maybe the heat against the mavs when they had shaq?
How is that theory working out?
The series isn't over.
I know everyone complains about 'flop city' (the clips) but really, no one flops more egregiously than Miami's Fab 3. Sickening.
I still can't figure out who will win this series. Even with all the blowouts, I haven't enjoyed watching a finals series this much in a while.
Not saying it is. But the point was a blow out win was just ONE win. It didn't mean SA was going to smoke the Heat.
The statement that was implied was that even though the Spurs blew out the Heat, the Heat could come back and win the series like the Celtics did to the Lakers.
I said people always bring that up after blowouts but usually when you get smoked, you get smoked, i.e. lose the series. The Cs/Lakers thing happened once.
If the Spurs win the series (likely), I will have been right. When you get blown out like the Heat did in Game 3, you lose the series. You don't come back and win it like the Lakers did. It hardly EVER happens so why bring it up?
Even if Miami wins the series, I stand by my statement. It is rare. Why bring it up? Blazers got destroyed in game 1 of 1992 NBA Finals. We did not come back to win the series. I could go on and on.
Will the spurs win again? I hope they do; but this may go the heats way. The good thing is both coaches are champions. Both sides are champions. I give a slight edge to sas because I believe pop is the greatest coach in the game.
Its hard not to give a huge advantage to the Spurs because as good as Maimi is its hard to win 2 in a row when its all on the line, even if you have home court advantage. Its also hard to imagine the Spurs losing 2 straight with how experienced and good in pressure situations they seem to be.
