Has any team came back from a 3-1 deficit in the finals? Maybe the heat against the mavs when they had shaq?

Is Bird Man injured? I guess the Heat aren't hurting for him today but it seems like an odd omission from the rotation.

Yes. That happened. But now what you said before. I don't get why people bring that up every time there's a blowout though. That happened once. Usually, when you get smoked, you get smoked.

How is that theory working out?

Woooosh!

I know everyone complains about 'flop city' (the clips) but really, no one flops more egregiously than Miami's Fab 3. Sickening.

That makes sense; Dwayne Wade practically invented the modern style of "and one!" whining and flopping... LeBron has surpassed the old master, though!

I say again, a $5k fine? Seriously? That's like $12 in non-NBA money. I'm sure these guys will gladly accept this joke fine a few times over if it 'wins' them a championship. He should be suspended for a quarter of the next game or something.

These tiny fines are supposed to help stop flopping?

Fucking brilliant.

Spurs have nice scoring balance at the half of game 5...

Danny Green is simply unconscious. The Heat (terrible as this may be to say) would be well served to send a thug at him.

I thought the same, Miami should clog with rough defense, especially when they were 14 behind. Spoelstra is fighting for his job. He should be fired if he loses the series.

I hate the Heat, I'll be so happy if they lose.

I still can't figure out who will win this series. Even with all the blowouts, I haven't enjoyed watching a finals series this much in a while.

I'm right there with you. I think I have predicted 100% wrong so far. But man is this fun. Usually, blowouts aren't fun, but for some reason these games are keeping me enthused.

Not saying it is. But the point was a blow out win was just ONE win. It didn't mean SA was going to smoke the Heat.

The statement that was implied was that even though the Spurs blew out the Heat, the Heat could come back and win the series like the Celtics did to the Lakers.

I said people always bring that up after blowouts but usually when you get smoked, you get smoked, i.e. lose the series. The Cs/Lakers thing happened once.

If the Spurs win the series (likely), I will have been right. When you get blown out like the Heat did in Game 3, you lose the series. You don't come back and win it like the Lakers did. It hardly EVER happens so why bring it up?

Even if Miami wins the series, I stand by my statement. It is rare. Why bring it up? Blazers got destroyed in game 1 of 1992 NBA Finals. We did not come back to win the series. I could go on and on.

Why bring it up? Because it was ridiculous to think that because the defending world champions got blown out in one game, that it meant anything other than just one lost. They are too good. Especially since they blew out SA the game before. That LA team in the 80's were also previous world champions. So to think Boston had it rapped up after one game...was foolish. How many of those other example you mentioned were against world champions? The Blazer team sure wasn't, however the Chicago team that beat them certainly was.

I hope to hell SA wins. But it is going to be really tough in Miami. But regardless who wins, it doesn't change my point.

Will the spurs win again? I hope they do; but this may go the heats way. The good thing is both coaches are champions. Both sides are champions. I give a slight edge to sas because I believe pop is the greatest coach in the game.

Its hard not to give a huge advantage to the Spurs because as good as Maimi is its hard to win 2 in a row when its all on the line, even if you have home court advantage. Its also hard to imagine the Spurs losing 2 straight with how experienced and good in pressure situations they seem to be.

The only thing that worries me is as good as Leonard, Green, and Neal have played (And a few of the other subs) they really haven't been in a pressure situation like they are about to be in. (Game 6 and 7 of the NBA finals) So hopefully they can stay close until the 4th and then maybe one of them can go off from deep.

Anyone else surprised by how little discussion there has been about the officiating? That's awesome. I haven't seen too many egregious mistakes through 5 games.

And there's very little bickering and dirty play among the players-- all in all making this series very enjoyable to watch.
