I think if we stick to commenting on the post and not demean the poster, we'll all do better. Anybody else agree?

There's a rule in conducting business meetings - If you're going to provide feedback, it's not going to achieve it's intent unless the listener accepts the feedback. This means we should try to avoid insulting each other else we're wasting our time in here.

If you can't say anything without including an insult, try changing the subject. We got some great threads going talking about food, movies and music. It gives you an outlet without wasting everyone's time.

Realizing we never seem to change another's mind we have to throw in a jab here and there just to get some satisfaction.

Satisfaction comes when you either sway someone's opinion or you get them to think more openly. All else is pretty much a waste of time.

Oh, I guess there is value in advancing fellowship or camaraderie. I see this in the discussions on music, food and movies.

I had to call 911 to have them remove it from my ass
