Play the Tanking Game in the article, just for fun. I got fired my first go around.

I played. Here's the chronology of my moves in "the tanking game":

• Traded players for picks
• Hired a coach
• Didn't bring in any vets, but asked coach's input on personnel decisions
• Played the season, kept the coach and owner happy, and got the 10 pick.
• with 4 picks, drafted a starter, a star, a role player, and a scrub
• Retained my coach,
• Brought in a couple vets
• Played the season, kept the coach and owner happy, and got the 6 pick.
• with 4 picks, drafted a superstar, a role player, and 2 scrubs
• Retained my coach,
• Brought in a couple vets
• Played the season, kept the coach and owner happy, and got the 8 pick.
• with 4 picks, drafted a superstar, a role player, and 2 scrubs
• Won the tanking game.

I played a second time and lasted longer, but still fired. I always only received 1 lottery pick, and sometimes a second rounder.

When I drafted my second "Player Who Dies Tragically Before Training Camp" I stopped playing. Too many were dying, I couldn't take it emotionally.

OK--so when do I get my NBA GM job?

Not sure anytime has ever drafted a Star and then two superstars with picks as late as those but if you can do that fire NO and hire the Platypus!

Not exactly sure. It said I had 3 second round picks every time. I probably got them all from Olshey.
