Man, I guess I'm still behind. I don't know where the 24 hours thing that you're talking about came from. I don't know what thread you're talking about from last year.
I'm happy to learn new stuff--I don't know everything about everything CBA-related. As far as "in the CBA", I don't have a download of the new CBA. I have the 2005 version, and the NBPA Summary of changes, and I don't know where any of them says that you have 24 hours on the day after the moratorium to complete paperwork/etc. I can quote the rules on how long it takes and the mechanisms for renounced players, the address of the NBA office where the paperwork must be sent, etc., and those aren't 24 hours and are sequential. I'm going by word of mouth. It's not that way for the trade deadline, waiver requests, or renouncing a free agents.
Stuff can be signed/talked about/press conferences done starting at 12:01 EST on the 10th. (Or else you get hit like HOU did). Our trades must be completed before HOU can sign Howard and NOP can sign Evans. That's all I've been trying to say from the beginning of the thread.
Well as long as you know "the great magnifier" has a bigger dick than you; we are okay.
