Obviously Terry Stotts not only was a very good person but he coached with only the highest integrity.
Never once did you hear him throw a player under the bus. He always supported his players and the city of Portland. His ideals were focused on team and human growth as well as trying to be the very best on and off the court.

I'm surprised this thread has not been started yet. This is a place to bring up the positives.
 
Fuck you!!!!! Worst coach in NBA history. Clown. Darkest hour in franchise history ruined much of Dames prime. Fuck you and fuck your boy clown clueless rat stotts
 
I have had the opportunity to meet him several times. Really a quality person.

I wasn't very kind when he was hired. I think I nicknamed him "Interim". I was wrong. He didn't get us all the way to the mountaintop, but for many years he did an amazing job with this team. Many teams walked away from a game with us not just outplayed, but outcoached. The work he did when we were missing players was nothing short of remarkable.

I, for one, will miss him.

This not about what kind of person he was nobody gives a shit. Im sure he is a nice guy family man. But we are in cut throat business. Stotts made millions upon millions $$$ and never figured out the trap of Dame. Clueless clown. Will never respect him as a coach
 
Seemed like a good guy. Might end up being better than the two Blazer coaches prior to him and the rumored coach to replace him.

Was he the answer? Who knows. Was he the main problem? Certainly not.

I am a Terry Stotts fan and will be rooting for him to have another good opportunity...great guy...even keeled....couldn't win the endgames in the playoffs when it counted but all in all, I've enjoyed the Blazer era with Stotts coaching. Thanks for starting the thread....if we hire Kidd I'll puke.

We disagree. I think he was a very good coach.

Stott's gone. Who cares if people appreciate him.

Insulting people over it not cool. There is a no personal insult rule here. You've been on a tear lately. You need to stop. No one goes after or insults you. Please, I'm asking you nicely, I've reached out to you via PM, I like a lot of your takes but these personal insults have to stop.

Exactly stotts is gone. You should bann any thread with stotts. It was the darkest hour in history. A decade of pain and suffering with stotts. 9 years i will never get back. I have right to be frustrated with people creating appreciation threads about him its so sickening.

Then say that.

"This thread is frustrating me!"

"I don't like Stott's!"

But saying some pretty ugly things to people who do like Stott's is not going to fly.

I'm going to ask you again nicely, please stop with the personal insults.
