Robin Lopez

I hope Robin Lopez is ALOT better than he showed tonight. I didn't get to see any pre-season games, so this was my first look at him. But to me, he looked like a less athletic Luke Babbit with no shot. He just plodded around like he was wearing lead shoes, got light up by Plumlee, and was absolutely not a defensive presence inside.

Re: Mo Williams

He had a really shitty game.

What you see is what you get. We should've signed Bynum.

Re: Robin Lopez

The only thing less inspiring than the outcome of this game is Robin Lopez's play

MEYERS LEONARD COULD HAVE DONE THAT.

Re: Robin Lopez

RoLo got YOLO'd by Plumlee.

He couldn't stay in front of him.

Though, Plumlee was playing out of his freaking mind.

Re: Robin Lopez

The good news is that Lopez can't possibly play much worse on either end (and the boards) than he did tonight, and the Blazers still had it within 5 points with 4 minutes left.

Re: Mo Williams

I was wondering why we got him for so cheap. Now I know. A waste of a signing. Should've thrown all our money at Bynum and kept Babbitt.

The Blazers got there ass's handed to them tonight.

What the fuck is goin on?:sigh:

Re: Mo Williams

well, we probably start by either

A: continually bitching about it without any sense of perspective (ooh, there's that word again)
or
B: realize it's just 1 game

Re: We need PLAYERS, not shooters

I feel like I saw him score 21 in a game last season. Am I imagining that.?
If you watched the game tonight, you know what I'm talking about. Plumlee showed aggressiveness, great footwork, and an assortment of very polished moves around the basket. Leonard has never shown that kind of ability.

Our bench

12 points tonight. Worse than last year. Aldridge can't be happy about this.

Re: Can you feel the mediocrity tonight?

This didn't smell like mediocrity, it smelled like suckage. Remember, Phoenix is supposed to be one of the worst teams in the league, and they were short handed tonight. And I agree on Batum, he's so over-rated. We may as well start Dorell Wright and use his money on a center who can play defense.

Re: Can you feel the mediocrity tonight?

BREAKING NEWS: PAUL ALLEN SELLS TEAM

Re: We need PLAYERS, not shooters

So, will you rename yourself Player?

barfo

Re: The Blazers got there ass's handed to them tonight.

They got them handed to them because they didn't slap them enough.

Re: The Blazers got there ass's handed to them tonight.

We are just not as good (or talented) as we think we are. Too many one-dimensional players, too much outside shooting, and no real offensive scheme that I can see.

Re: The Blazers got there ass's handed to them tonight.

one thing that is for sure, we needed another thread made about it.

A few months/years from now S2 will look back on this and realize RoyToy was right the whole time.

I think it has already settled in a bit. You can only hand on to hope for so long with young players. At some point they are what they are.

OMG WE LOST OPENING NIGHT WE SUCK AND WE ARE GOING NOWHERE LETS ALL OVERREACT AND LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO WAS ROOTING FOR US TO LOSE SO HE COULD MAKE A "I TOLD YOU SO POST".
We lost to a horrible team tonight. The Heat also lost to a team trying to suck as much as possible so I guess they are no longer any good either.
Lets not overreact to one loss the same way we shouldnt overreact to one win.
