I dunno, except every other team in the NBA would love to have them. I guess that what about. What about them?
Hey, hey, hey, I've already got a job. Once a day I go to the mailbox and look for my unemployment check. When I see it, I immediately take it to the check cashing place and grab my cash. Then, I head for the liquor store where I buy the cheapest beer I can find and a carton of Camels. Then I've got to spend the next 30 days recuperating with a can of beer and a cigarette while sitting on the front porch in my stained undershirt. For a change of pace, I go inside and kick the dog and yell at the wife and kids.God damn! I was just going to say the same things. Either that or get a job!
I think CJ will be back for the Denver Games limited Minutes off the bench. Will be starting by the time the playoffs start.Warning: The following is pure conjecture and is not based on any facts: known, alternative, or imaginary.
I'm guessing CJ will be back for the playoffs, but will come off the bench, at least for the first few games.
How many here think that would be a blessing?
I think it would be beneficial to continue to start Hood and have CJ work over the other team's backups. For one thing, although Hood's defense isn't great, it's greatly better than CJ's. Additionally, it seems to me the ball moves on offense better with non CJ players starting.
What say you?
For the season?Man, I say just rest him.
Sure. Did we learn nothing from BROY coming back too soon. Or any player for that matter. Why risk log term damage? For the season?
What do you know, and when did you know it!!?Man, I say just rest him.
I honestly think BRoy ruined his knees with Tai Quan Do kicking more than playing basketball...he practiced marshal arts since childhood I read somewhere...Sure. Did we learn nothing from BROY coming back too soon. Or any player for that matter. Why risk log term damage?
Well Broy was a quite different injury.Sure. Did we learn nothing from BROY coming back too soon. Or any player for that matter. Why risk log term damage?
Absolutely agree. IMO, a player should never be forced into action until healed and strong enough that injury risk is low. Even if they want to.Sure. Did we learn nothing from BROY coming back too soon. Or any player for that matter. Why risk log term damage?
.CJ would be 6 man of the year every year if he'd accept that role at least on this team. In the east he'd be the number one option and an allstar for many teams
Anyone ever wonder how CJ being legitimately cold-blooded impacts his recovery timetable?
Oooh!
SAVAGE.

Roy came back from surgery.
Apples/Oranges
Roy also had little to no meniscus in either knee which is what finally ended his career and why he was unable to ever fully recover.

what's a burner account?
It's sad that we believe every new member is just @cityofroses making a new account again.
what's a burner account?
seems to be a bit of paranoia by some in this forum.
Terry didn't do this with Harkless/Layman earlier this year-- what makes you think he'll do it with CJ? Unwritten rule in the NBA that Terry strongly abides by: you don't lose your spot in the rotation if you're injured.Warning: The following is pure conjecture and is not based on any facts: known, alternative, or imaginary.

This regime is so clandestine with their injury updates. It's good in a sense-- but it pisses me off. We're nearing 3 weeks since he first injured his knee and have had 0 updates on his progress.
