It feels as though game 7 in Denver was but the ultimate cocktease of the 21st century.

We are locked into a GM/HC that have lost their ways, become stale and predictable.

We have the best player in our organizations history putting up video game numbers while the team struggles to win even against g-league talent.

Our young talent hasn’t developed to exactly the levels we were hoping to see, and our stud center has Portlanditis with injuries.

Our contract situation is a mess, and with mention to the previous GM comment, he refuses to make large changes, instead opts for mini bandaids to try and cover bullet holes.

I’m young, but even I feel like I will never see this team win any type of championship in my lifetime.

I may be a tad drunk and a little high, but in my feelings... this needed to be said.

I would say that you appear more than a tad drunk.

Please don't taint our political squabbling with basketball. It's off-topic and inappropriate. I don't come to this site for sports, I come here to stop thinking about sports and relax with some politics chat.

Trump will buy the Blazers when he leaves office in 2032 so we'll be great again in 2033.

Since the Blazers won their Championship 76/77 season, there have been only 7 teams out of 30 now, that have won a championship, and some of the 7 have won Multiple times.
So as a fan of the game, I realize the planets must line up for the Blazers to win one. The odds are not good for 23 of the 30 teams.

Yeah, that's not true. Bullets, Sonics, Lakers (x10), Celtics (x4), Sixers, Pistons (x3), Bulls (x6), Rockets (x2), Spurs (x5), Heat (x3), Mavericks, Warriors (x3), Cavs, Raptors have all won titles. 14 different champions since 77, 8 multiples.

I didn't need a reminder for why I hate the Lakers.

We will be the Greatest Team Ever, no team will compare to how great this team will be! Although the coach will be the third "interim" coach in a row and the GM will have no experience in basketball. All other teams will loathe us, but we will have raucous rallies where we we talk about the Olshey days and the crowd will yell "lock him up!"

Pence will be GM! Grew up in Indiana so he knows basketball!

Also, the medical team will have been purged because they believe in science and there will be no team doctor. "Doc" Rivers will be the interim coach and will fill both duties.

lol....Or if Bernie beats Trump the government will take over all the sports franchises, Networks and players will all get paid the same. lol

Even if we don't win the championship he will just deny that and pretend we did and it will be true!!!

That leaves 17 teams out in the cold with 16 faring worse than the Blazers.
